Garrett "CYA". Per King, Garrett wanted Elliott. Per Benji, Garrett wanted Ramsey. Either way Garrett cannot be blamed for any potential Draft Flop. Give Garrett another 5 Year extension and we can move forward with the "Long Process to success".

I totally believe this Philly writer ........ what reason would he have to lie?

Of course Jason Garrett ,the offensive minded coach, would not want the most dynamic RB in the draft on what may be his make or break year as head coach.

I have no idea if this guy is legit and the Philadelphia factor brings further doubt, but it would not be too hard to imagine that Garrett, whose father was a longtime scout and whose brother is a scout, would side with the scouting department. Again, if the rumors are true that the scouts ranked Ramsey higher. Maybe Garrett actually felt Ramsey was the better player or didn't like the value of a RB at 4.

I disagree. We've done pretty well in the draft lately, and I give them credit for that. (Though I wish we could hit on some late round guys.) But we haven't had a quality HC since Tuna - who Jerry wrongly ran out of town. He can't get out of his own way, and we're a lesser team because of it.

Albright's source may have been there and had a different level of access and seen different things. All people that say that either one has to be lying just demonstrate their lack of imagination and experience.

Just because two people report events differently doesn't mean either one is lying. It's a possibility but deduction means you have to deduce all other possibilities not just what you can come up with.

Nuance is tough.
