Fake Rumor: Benjamin Allbright reports Garrett overruled on Elliott pick

I listen to other cities radio shows when we play them the upcoming week..... Josh Innes and his show is by far the worst own I've heard. I'm not even sure what they are. They never spew facts. Just opinions based on nothing and they spew Cowboys hate despite not even really hating them just trying to get Philly people to listen.

Living near the DC area, hearing the local broadcast before DirecTV and NFL Network, I used to listen to Frank Howard and Sonny Jurgenson. Sonny
was always drunk. They did a lot of talking about nothing and called it Commanders football.

Funny story... during a game broadcast locally, Howard (I think it was him) would say " Sonny, its 3rd and 13 here. What do you think the Commanders should do?"
You could hear the ice rattling around in his glass, and then Sonny would say "Punt."

Just reported at WIP Philly sports radio on the Josh Innes show. In the middle of laughing at us for taking a RB when Romo only has a year left, two at the most, Allbright said he had "friends who were there" and Garrett wanted Ramsey but Jerry overruled him.

Peter King must have missed this.

Are these guys the same ones who last year said Bradford is the best QB in the division?

My friend was there too, he was the one with the long hair always on the phone, he was apparently calling in the picks, but reality is he was talking to me telling me everything happening, and that didnt happen.

If a source says something negative about about the Cowboys it's clearly fraudulent.

Now, if a source that Jerry is respected by his NFL peers, Jason Garrett is the second coming, or anything else rosy about the Cowboys, it's validation.

Yet all of the evidence refutes every bit of his anecdotal story.

From King's account, to the video of the draft room, to his reaction to the pick.

And even if he was for Ramsey, he is the coach...not the GM. He is one voice in the room...probably with more clout but not the only voice.

I heard the same thing. Albright clearly said Jones overruled Garrett. Now maybe he misspoke.

This story is pap for Eagles fans/some sorry Cowboys fans. It has no bearing on anything and runs counter to everything Garrett has had to say publicly about Elliott since the pick was made. It's a complete non-issue.
