WRONG.. That were true most quarterbacks fit that description almost all of them actually. Tier 3 is Tannehill, baker types, too many to list..

Last year Prescott had one of the worst run game supports one of the worst run blocking offensive lines and one of the worst defenses in bigger games they had all his career and had a career year somehow he made his top wide receiver very very rich that is not a low volume passing offense I'm sorry but whatever you think you saw you didn't I mean how did Prescott finish second team all bro second team in MVP voting with one of the worst run games we've had in one of the worst defenses we've had did that show up in the Seattle wind when our defense sucks so bad that if you were to punted more than once you were gonna lose the game? our run game has actually gone downhill since 2020 it's gotten worse almost every year that is why Mike McCarthy took over and yet he was even worse than Moore. Hell some are calling this year one of the most historically put together run games so far in the offseason... So somehow you've gotten blinded by your hate for Prescott because he's nowhere near your description he is not a bus driver there are a lot of those quarterbacks that have come and gone in this league he's done it both ways sure any quarterback with a dynamic run game and a great offensive line you know like Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach and you give them great defenses can elevate their games even more but ours is already average in the regular season and it falls off a Cliff in the postseason both for Romo and Prescott we've yet to have those types of teams surrounded them because if that's what you're calling Tier 2 in tier three well that means Troy and Roger were tier 3 'cause that's all they had their whole entire career it's great defenses great coaching great run games and great offensive lines..

The fact is Patrick mahomes is elite and then there's a group of 5 or 6 great quarterbacks Tier 2 quarterbacks cause tier one's elite you can put one or two of them in that box if you want Tier 2 is Prescott... I find it hilarious that somehow you don't watch a game like say the Buffalo game and Josh Allen throws for under 100 yards they run all game because our defense couldn't stop it and yet somehow Josh I don't wanna get credit for the win are you kidding me he literally turns the ball over more than any quarterback in the league but some people are calling him elite or Tier 2 no he needs a run game as well it's called being one-dimensional versus being well balanced if the defense has an idea how to slow your offense down by easily stopping the running at the same time playing more zone which dirties up all the lanes takes more time to throw and gets to the quarterback or pressures him with only four guys you know how hard it is to play in that type of scenario for any quarterback it's tough...

You can argue all you want because I have a belief that I will be putting you on ignore because I do think he's tier 3 and you somehow think that the Dallas Cowboys front office provided that for him outside of his first couple years when zeke was elite then you're delusional Prescott can play in any offense in this league in my opinion he's one of the best under pressure against the blitz he runs one of the most efficient offenses and I'm betting he's the only starting quarterback or one of very few that has his entire career more times than not been a top three offense...

So of course, he's not elite, no one's saying he's the top quarterback in this league, last year he was top three without much of a run game without much of A defense it might have been one of his best of his career...

Dude was running for his life several times and forced to make the play. Defenses didn’t have to focus as much on the RB and forced Dak to be a pure passer which as article says, only for tier one. Not a Dak homer but I am being fair about the assessment. I thought he grew up a bit last year under Coach Mac’s guidance as the OC. Just like the article says, had some great games carrying the team but also some flops, and a hole or two in his game. My example would be you take Tyreek Hill out of KC, and Mahomes STILL wins. You take CeeDee out of Dallas, and Dak will probably struggle to win often.

No, he was bailing pocket early because he was coached to if his early reads aren’t there. And once again, after changed at the bye and playing some bad teams, the offense struggled and Dak was back to throwing picks. Even the Lions game, like 40% of his passing yards game in that busted play by the Lions LB who had free rein to Dak and the DB just letting up on Lamb.

It was a dumbed form offense that you are absolutely right, if Lamb wasn’t there would struggle, in fact, we saw what happened when teams were able to take Lamb out the equation, like the Packers, Bills and 49ers. The team didn’t just lose, it gets annihilated. He’s slow processing the field.

And again, like what would are his defenders living in? Dak literally had Lamb, Amari and Gallup when he wasn’t injured, and Zeke and Pollard, with Martin and Smith among others. The guy STRUGGLED consistently and sucked against zone defenses, because he can’t dissect a defense. It’s not about the amount of players, it’s because the QB had tunnel vision. The guy didn’t even make the playoffs in 2019.

You are literally not going to get the stars align like this in the NFl except rarely for any QB.

We had 3 All Pros on the o-line last year and Dak fans think the o-line was trash.

Our o-line consistently has 2 All Pros every single year on the oline and some years 3.

There’s not an o-line the NFL that’s been as consistently good as the Cowboys line since probably 2014ish.

Every time Dak loses we hear those screams of "the protection was terrible."

Two things. Firstly, the protection was fine in the GB debacle. Secondly, when you're in the playoffs you are now against playoff caliber D's and you are going to get some pressure no matter how good your OL is.
