they are as it's their only choice...as it should be...

if your assertion is that you can't voice options about the pros and cons of such details
then you would have to close ESPN, sports talk radio, and every pro sports forum on the planet

Obviously the point went right over your head. Color me surprised! Opinions? Absolutely. Disagreements? Yep. But, just throwing out statements like I referenced earlier in this thread is nothing more than a waste of everyone’s time.

Has anyone else grown so very tired of all the *****ing and moaning on here about the team ownership/management decisions on a daily basis? The majority of posters hated the Jaylon Smith pick. How has that worked out? The majority hated the Vander Esch pick. How’s that worked out? Many, if not most, hated the Zeke pick. How’s that worked out? Most thought drafting Dak was a bad selection, even though it was a compensatory fourth round pick. How’s that worked out? The examples are endless and I could go on and on. Every NFL team makes decisions that work out well and some that fall flat. It’s not an exact science. However, far too many Dallas “fans” (I often question their true fandom) seem to think they know more about running an NFL franchise than our FO. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic. Some of you guys are wasting your imagined talents. You should quit your day jobs and start sending your resumes to various NFL teams. Afterall, you always know better than those actually running the world’s most valuable professional sports team. Right?

I have to wonder how many of the trade Zeke, fine Zeke, don't give in to Zeke posters also are on the Jerry as a GM couldn't find his butt with a road map and a tour guide. The I hate the front office cabal.

So if they despise Zeke, and think Jerry can't make the right move, how *** up is their day?

STOP WHINING. You want a waste of time? Creating a thread specifically designed for you to throw a hissy fit. That's a waste of time.

I would also like to apologize for me previous post. 13 is a bit too mature for this behavior. I'm guessing 7?

Every forum has those types of threads.

So much for the dumb threads ending once TC starts.

Trolls love attention.

They don't have anything of value to offer the world; therefore they get attention by constant negativity.

I don’t get this. Scrutinizing management decisions, sometimes criticizing them, is part of what it is to be a fan.

This front office has done a nice job of finding talent in the draft recently. But that doesn’t mean they haven’t made some strategic errors in team building, such as over-investing in RB or undervaluing WR prior to the Cooper trade (a mistake they rightly recognized and corrected quickly). And it doesn’t mean we have any reason to trust their cap management going forward.

Go ahead and give them a pass on everything they do if you want. But I don’t see why others should be expected to do the same.

Basically. Stephen and Jerry aren’t in the positions they are because of their football acumen. They bought their way in. So let’s please not act like they’re beyond reproach. Could I personally do a better job? Probably not. That doesn’t mean I can’t disagree with decisions, or question their judgement.

+100.......remember the initial reaction to Cooper trade? Oh man, few posters started at least half a dozen threads how we just traded away our 2019 top 10 draft pick.

So very true. I meant everything I said in my initial post and that was the primary reason I posted it. The responses I got were expected. I told my wife before I hit the button to make the post what the responses would be. She asked how I knew that and I simply told her it’s the nature of this board, and to be fair, most all message boards. Most internet warriors need negativity for some reason. I guess it’s a way to covertly vent their disappointments in various aspects of their lives. Who the hell knows. Regardless, I would’ve bet a year’s salary what the majority of responses would be. Sadly, it’s like putting bait on a hook.

I don't think "most" thought any of those things, but rather a vocal minority who tend to repeat themselves. Still, it's a fan message board and it would be pretty boring if everyone sat silently waiting for things to happen or agreed 100% on every decision.

It's not hard to ignore a thread. I do it, I'm sure everyone does it, sometimes. The broken record kids do their thing and I decide if I want to play that day or not.

OP complaining about the coaching staff decisions. SAD!
Let the coaches worry about the depth chart and playing time. Send your resume in before posting about roster discussion on here bud.
I swear, I get so tired of the negativity on the coaching staff and players.

Reading comprehension is your friend. I never said you couldn’t express your opinions or disagreements. I’m pointing out the baseless statements about the FO and the claim that they don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve never made my desire to fire Garrett a secret. That’s my opinion in regards to his performance or lack thereof in a game setting. Simply saying “Jerry must be drunk again” is worthless, lazy, and unproductive.

Isn't that what you're supposed to do as a fan?

Especially on a fan forum, like this.

What else are we supposed to do? Praise the FO for anything they do/don't do? That'd just be boring haha

23 years without a Lombardi
Two division rivals have won three since then.
The Patriots has won six.

Let that sink in

And while I'm thinking about it.
Let's see a show of hands that's interfered with the FOs ability to do their jobs.

Some of you just don’t get what I’m saying. I’m saying that criticisms should be productive and based on actual on the field performances and results. Constantly saying the FO is inept and doesn’t know what they’re doing is simply inaccurate. We have a team that is as good as any in the league right now, They must be doing something right.
