Zeke had zero standout traits, aside from blocking. He was above average at everything else.

Problem w/ that, is just a few leg injuries and that above average drops to average or below.
Yep and a great Oline becomes average and its the same affect as a leg injury.

And it’s old!
E, everything on this site is old new. No exceptions. That's why it's generally best to only enter convo's in which you have interest.

Everyone repeats themselves a lot on here, no exceptions.

If you look at our recent late first round draft picks, getting a player that is a safe pick and possible game changer for 5 or 6 seasons makes sense to me.

2013 Travis Frederick OC pick 31 played six seasons for the cowboys excluding a year off due to illness.
2015 Byron Jones CB pick 27 played five seasons for the cowboys
2017 Taco Charlton DE pick 28 Lasted two seasons
2018 Leighton Vander Esch pick 19 Just finished his fifth Season but missed significant time due to a neck injury.
2019 Amari Cooper Pick 27 traded to the Raiders played three and a half seasons for the Cowboys

Yah, love the guy. But 2nd round is steep. Trade back and pick up an extra 2nd and im fine with it. Just get me a stud guard with the first pick.
On CBS site, rankings. I have not looked at other sites yet.
O'Cyrus Torrence is ranked 27th.
Would be a great selection.

Could they do a slight trade down and still be able to select him? Pick up and extra 2nd or 3rd. I need to look at my draft trade chart to see the value.

The tenn tackle is my #1 reasonable guy to fall. That would be my dream pickup for our first pick.

Man…we gotta have a RB.

We got scrubs.
We got scrubs?

For me the conversation ends right there. You must be a Zeke apologist if you think Pollard is a scrub. And if you have done your RB homework for this draft you would know you can get good backs well into the 5th round.

The Cowboys taking a RB with one of their first two picks would be one of the biggest draft mistakes they've made in some time.
1000% disagree….someone like Robinson or even Gibbs is there…is like skipping out on someone like Pollard…who can just score TDs…Pollard changed the outcome of games on plays not expected to score. I get that there are good RBs in later rounds but with TP on a one year deal…and someone electric like BR or Gibbs sitting there…think you will regret taking an OL or DL there instead.

You can never go wrong drafting in the trenches IF the guy pans out. The Cowboys have a pretty good track record drafting offensive linemen in that range but have not done quite as well on the defensive side. While I agree that a game changing running back would give you more bang for the buck early if the line deteriorates in front of him that game changing back aint changin many games. It's a tough call. But these guys are making a boatload o money to make that call.. So damnit make it a good one.

Actually as someone that has watched quite a few Alabama football games, I think the Cowboys would be better served taking Gibbs over Robinson.
Interesting; every draft guide website whatever has Bijay as clearly the best. Why do you think Gibbs is better?

Robinson will be off the board by the time Dallas picks in the first.
Gibbs will be off the board by the time Dallas picks in the second.

There is actually one mock draft floating around that has Gibbs to Dallas in the first, which is silly.

All this talk about Robinson is a waste... No way he goes to Dallas.

Some good RBs in the draft this year. Ir really depends on who is there at 26 but I think they can wait to draft a RB and still land a good one.

I’m talking about RB2-RB4

Scrubs.

All of them.

Totally agree, very unlikely to happen though at least in my opinion. Lets just hope if he is the real deal he doesn't end up in the NFCE unless it is with Dallas
Eagles are petty don’t be surprised if they draft Bijan.
