Keith Davis is a below average FS in this league, hes hardly worth the effort I'm going through to even type about him. I remain hopeful he's not our starting FS because he lacks big play ability.

First of all, I do not know that it was a team party. If it was, so be it. I do know that none of those guys ended up being shot (for the 2nd time).

I challenge you to find any post that indicates he's the only stupid person on the face of the earth, or even on our team. Just so happens, he's the only stupid person who got shot at 5AM on I635 that night is all.

I'd urge caution here. First of all, the whole story has not come out yet.

Regardless, my beef, as you well know, was not that he got shot, on purpose, accidentally or otherwise. It is, was and continues to be that he is stupid for ever putting himself in a vulnerable situation to begin with. That is still the truth.

Sorry Spanky, I just don't see how this is incorrect.

Ban parties, and driving on the road early in the morning.

I predict this will reduce the numbers of shootings that occur after parties, at 5 in the morning, on the freeway, to about zero.

You could be right. I'd submit it to your local government official and see how they respond. Be sure to add your full name, place of employment and all contact points so that they can be sure to find you.

Until then, we'll assume that it is "stupid" to go to parties. It is "stupid" to drive on freeway's early in the morning.

We have GOT to get that legislation passed.

How about not hanging out until 5 in the morning. No one is saying Davis should not go to parties what we are saying is bad things happen when you put yourself in certain situations. At that time of the morning not much good is going on. AS BP said today, when he talked about his father asking him well if it is never your fault then why are you always involved? It is not just bad luck it is putting yourself in situation where the chances of bad things happening to you tends to increase.

let me run this by you punk, and see if you would do the same, an opportunity presents itself to where you'll be going to a party with some of your tightest friends, to a nice house, where women are ready to throw themselves on you, and you're about to leave for an engagement in the next few days, that will take you away from any sense of normalcy for a good while

edit: not knocking this place, but if most of us had a real life, we probably wouldn't be on here as much as we are

it's funny that people keep conveniently leaving out the part where Davis' fellow teammates were in attendance at this same party, so maybe the position Davis put himself in wasn't so vulnerable, and that the reason he got shot was because some psycho was driving on the same stretch of road eh?
