Wow, stay away from the shot gun Kurt.

Kurt was a heroin addict. Thats a completely different story. Once again someone that has no idea what they are talking about.

What does that have to do with anything? The two are completely different highs and there is no indication that he liked blow at all. But hey lets just lump them all together.....

Oh and its Dr Feelgood....

Ole Matt needs all the help he can get (can't fix stupid)....but he should leave his dad out of it...that just does not help.

Since he was caught "red handed" does this mean he will get a 1yr suspension or does this count like the first failure of a drug test?

I think you probably are referring to Hank Gathers of Loyola Marymount, who had an irregular heartbeat and died during a game. Bias didn't have any known heart problems. If so, provide a link.

Sure he did. Wonder why his heart 'condition' had problems?

"Bias took a dose of cocaine through an unknown route, which likely induced cardiac arrhythmia or a heart attack."

Using a abnormal situation with extenuating circumstances really doesnt bring anything to the discussion. I have personal experience relevant to the discussion at hand due to my lifestyle about 6 years ago and before.

If you give a person with a heart condition too much red bull they will die too so I really dont get what youre trying to say. It really has no bearing on the average individual.

I hope some team does not try to hire Calvin Hill away from us.

I don't think Calvin Hill will go anywhere for any offer.

Oh, ok. So your situation is normal. But any other isn't? Again, Bias didn't have a heart condition. Get your facts straight. Great about opinions, is that no matter how many times you repeat yourself, it doesn't become fact.

Anyways back to football. Since I am no expert, I'll stand down now and let you have the forum all alone...

im not saying my situation is normal but Ive probably seen several hundred people do cocaine and ive yet to see anyone do a couple of lines and flop over dead.

if you read the actual coroners report on bias they do not use the term overdose but rather intoxication. that means that the presence of it in his blood stream probably caused the arrythmia but not the overabundance. Its a completely different thing.

At the end of the day that is neither here nor there. One person doesnt prove anything.

Oh and FWIW heres an article indicating that most people believed that he had a preexisting heart condition that was undiscovered. Thats why after that event NBA teams really started going overboard on testing prospects cardiac health.

I just go what the autopsy said. Actual medical personal. I'm done now...

DIAGNOSIS:
1. Cocaine Intoxication
OPINION:
LEONARD K. BIAS, a 22-year-old Black male, died as a result of cocaine intoxication, which interrupted the normal electrical control of his heartbeat, resulting in the sudden onset of seizures and cardiac arrest. The blood cocaine level was 6.5 milligrams per liter. Toxicological studies for alcohol and other drugs were negative. Due to the ongoing investigation of the circumstances surrounding his death, the manner of the death is ruled UNDETERMINED at this time.

He wasn't alone and he had a friend in the car with him so all of that is moot. If you have that much blow and you intend on selling he would have either had a scale, baggies and the like which he didn't have. That leaves consumption.

doesn't matter actual intent, that's enough to get charged for intent to distribute
