So after 3 weeks of knocking off tomato cans, Dak slobberers were giddily dancing around in their boxers and daily posting stat projections of Dak winning MVP while finishing with 275 TDs and a 425.1 QB rating...
This week? We play a team with a pulse, the stats posted have dried up and all I see is insecurity and articles with the Deions and Favres of the world reassuring everyone that Dak is a functional QB...

It takes a team to get to and win a SB, not one player. I believe that Dak will contribute heavily to the effort in getting there and winning. He won't be carrying. He won't carry the team either. Bad play by some part or parts of the team, coaching/game-planning, and management might prevent him ever seeing a SB.... Dak's good enough but might suffer the same problems as Romo... bad playoff play by the defense, bad game-planning, bad coaching, and mismanagement by Jerry.

Why all of the personal insults between people that disagree about him? Disagree, move on, and let time vindicate you if you're so sure.

I believe in Dak. Could I be wrong about him? Sure. I don't think I am or will be. Time will tell.

Give Dak ten years like Romo and he will definitely exceed the number of playoff games Romo won. Then again that is such a low bar, a pitiful standard to compare any Cowboys QB to.

Let the Romo apologists start their defense of the qb who won two wild card games in just the ten seasons as a starter.

• Romo was a better passer than Dak, but...
• Romo was always hurt his last 4 yrs, Dak is made of steel
• Dak is a better leader than the relunctant astronaut
• Dak is MUCH more careful with the ball than Romo
• Romo tried to emulate Favre, but had less talent and cost us a lot of games due to turnovers and dumb decisions
• At least Romo had a real, winning hc, Bill Parcells for his first 4 yrs. Dak has had to play in the Garrett system
• Romo is the most overrated pro athelete in Dallas sports history and he oy won 2 wildcard games.
• In three seasons, Dak has won 1 less playoff game than Romo

Agreed. And the refs weren't the reason Romo only won 2 wildcard games. Rogers had 5 min left after the Dez catch, and all packers needed was a field goal. Btw, we got cheated by refs on that dez catch but we would not have beaten the greatest 2 min QB of all time esp with 5 min left on clock.

Can someone remind me just HOW many players make up the offensive side of the ball??
