Felix Jones officially on IR **merged**

i would say bring coleman up from practice squad, its on him now to show if he has anything, he is speedy, coleman is;

or like someone suggested bring back ray lewis brother, cant think of his name now;

Well crap. This blows. Should have figured that it was going to be something like this. His speed and ability he showed early was just too good to be true to get him back on the field this year.

Hopefully Choice gets more of a real shot now.

"I told you guys we needed to get him a foot speacialist!!!" - cowboyjoe :)

Makes you wonder if they were waiting for news on Pacman before putting Felix on IR... his toe has obviously been an issue for a while, they knew about it. There was probably a chance he could have had the surgery and tried to return this year, but they decided not to risk it.

I just hope it doesn't affect his speed. He's so young, and a foot injury is the last thing a RB needs. Shaun Alexander's ended his career more or less.

:huh: I'm wondering what kind of drills a football player goes through that would cause a torn ligament in the big toe.

Anybody else disappointed in Felix Jones this year?

I know the guy is still a rookie but you'd think that a first round pick wouldn't be so injury prone.

Sure, he leads the league in yards per carry but when you draft someone so high you expect a little bit more bang for your buck.

IMO, this guy is a huge huge disappointment. Only Tony Romo and Roy Williams(WR) have let us down more...

:(

This really suks! Have to wait till next year to see Felix in action again!

dude injuries happen. its not like Felix wasnt gonna get injured b/c hes a 1st. rounder. and its not the first case, theres always been many rookies injured their first season. tough luck, but surely not a dissapointment in my book.

What ever happened to Tyson Thompson anyway?

I'm starting to question how good our trainers and medical staff are. 1st Newman misdiagnosis, Roy breaks his arm..again, then Romo can't play with a broken finger while Quinn is ready to play this week, and now this.
