Neither would be without solid assistants on the staff now. Bowles is thought of highly and would be a huge help to Rivera, and then both Sparano and Palmer would be huge in assisting JG. It's not like they would be starting from scratch without coaches that understand how to coach and know the players. Having coaches from the BP tree and Lovie tree is not a bad thing on one staff.
I would just like young-innovative coaches. No re-tread temporary HC's that will just continue to lead us to 9-7 records. At least with a young HC and coaching staff you can expect improvement, with guys like Turner, W.Phillips, you know what you are getting. They have proven that the players don't play for them thus the reason they are again coordinators. Give a chance to a young coach with modern NFL experience a chance to prove whether or not he can be a good HC. Don't hire someone you already know isn't! It's just a stoooopid idea this two-headed monster idea. I don't see how people can think this is a good idea. Not only that. What has Jason Garrett done for the QB's in Miami? Jerry might like him but he isn't even in the same league as a guy like Rivera or Rex Ryan who have been running their respective specialty for a few years and have done outstanding jobs.....Garrett is a shot in the dark right now..
