FF guy says Rivers will torch us

Eli threw for 450 and 4 TDs against us. The Chiefs' passing offense is conservative and the Rams' passing offense is terrible and yet those two QBs averaged 230 yards and 1.5 TD with no INT against us. Rivers and the Chargers have the most competent passing attack we've faced so far and they're at home. I'm not sure why this is so outlandish.

A few things have changed since the Giants game.

Allen - an absolute liability, is gone.
Mo is much healthier and less rusty.
The LB/s are playing the middle better.
Sims (returning) is pretty good in coverage (if healthy).
The new DL that they picked up this week look to be of a higher caliber than the recently churned.
The learning curve is steep for this new 4-3 system - each week should be better from a coordination standpoint.

The KC and St. Louis offenses had average statistical games against us on paper, but in reality, we crushed the Rams defensively - they only gained 18 yards through their first 7 possessions and the rest of the yards came in garbage time.

KC was a close game with 2 terrible drive killing / extending penalty calls. Smith did a really good job keeping drives alive with uncharacteristic scrambles, but he certainly didn't carve up the 2ndary.

Cutler will put more down-field pressure on this 2ndary than we have had since the Giants and Gates will be a real issue, but I think that we have gotten a lot better defensively over the past few weeks.

Before we all go get our feeling hurt, let's take note that Yahoo Fantasy Sports has .....
Tony Romo ranked 4th this week
and Phillip Rivers ranked 12th.

Dallas will be 3-1. That's all that matters. We'll play good "TEAM" football and Philip Rivers will play look at me football.

Rivers will throw for 260, 1 TD, and 3 INTS. The last pick will be to seal the game. Come on, guys; we've got a great looking defense!! Wasn't Bradford without a sack before we met them. Have a little faith in our team! Rivers is gonna torch us?? Now I know y'all are crazy!

I say romo is way better than rivers but I do think the chargers will score a lot againt us around 27ish.

Wasn't Bradford without a sack before we met them.

Yeah but since we've met them he's been sacked 5 more times and the Rams look like the same Rams the Cowboys beat down in 2011. Rivers is a much more dangerous and productive QB than Bradford. The Cowboys better put pressure on him or he'll produce some big numbers.

Rivers is a gun slinger and he has no fear taking chances. Us playing to what the defense gives you is too conservative in my estimation. On a few possessions Dez was in single coverage and Romo didn't even look his way, what's up with that?

Rivers spent the whole game taking what the defense gave him. It's just that the defense gave him a lot.

Rivers at his best > Romo at his best. Romo at his worst > Rivers at his worst
