Tomorrow morning on ESPN.
Film analysis. Zapruder-style.
You see Dez Bryant here.
Left hand, open palm.
Left hand--to the right.
Left hand---to the right.
Again, you see-----left hand------to the right.
Hey Blandino, Was it a punch?
Dude are you serious? This IS what makes him great. I'll take a TC fight. Can't turn this stuff off. Dudes are competing.
It is the team motto after all.
That's not a fight...
Back in the day, our prized #1 pick Danny Noonan got in a fight with free agent named Nate Newton. Danny took off Newton's helmet and started hitting Nate on the head. At the time, people cared more that Danny didn't get hurt, little did we know, their paths would take off in different directions.
The fight was fine. But apparently Dez wouldn't let it go for a long, long time, and Romo had to get involved. Once he gets worked up emotionally, he can't calm down. He's got to learn to settle himself. That's my only issue with this because training camp fights are normal.
I have more of an issue with Patmon, i get being physical but i can also sense someone wanting to prove something. Patmon wants to make an impression but Dez is the wrong person to do that against, Dez wouldn't let it go because he felt disrespected imo.
Ok so most say this is normal and good, but should the HC do about it?
1.Tell Patmon to let dez do whatever he wants, including hit patmon
2.Tell Dez good boy ! like to see that every day, hit anyone you feel like.
3.Make each player do 5 situps and pick up any trash around the field
4.Fine both players based on their salary.
5.Tell Dez he just lost 1 mil of his G money in april as a joke.
6.do nothing and hope they dont hurt each other in following days
7. encourage other players to fight each other too!
I think I go with # 3
#8 Realize that things get chippy in football and move on.
that would be # 6
Yeah it was nothing.
Great, so teams can make Dez feel "disrespected", get him to throw a punch, and get him kicked out of a game.
Don't think this wasn't widely noticed around the league.
