With the sixth overall pick the Washington Commanders select Jesus Christ from the University of Heaven.

In other words Jesus is the only one who can save our franchise

My early money will be on DE Gaines Adams.

What LB's do you think would be available with the 22nd pick. Are there any TE available in the second round?

ahaha, Lions don't get Brady Quinn. They'll probably get Troy Smith.

If the Raiders don't get Quinn I will be shocked.

Quinn doesn't fit the west coast O anyway. They would be better off trading way down and getting Troy Smith.

1. SF has the option of trading first round picks with Washington, and they will...:lmao2:

2. Don't be surprised to see Peterson drop in the draft...guys who have not been durable in college don't go high in the draft, especially RB's...I won't be surprised if he's not even the first RB taken.

Having lost Steven Jackson for JJ and Spears, I sure don't want to spend an even higher pick on Peterson.

I'd love him if we were going back to the 4-3...Adams is projected to go in the top 5. I think he'll be long gone before the Skins get up, especially since I understand SF will swap picks with them as part of last year's trade.

1. offensive guards
2. nasty-demeanor, pressure OLB
3. FS in free agency
4. Trade TO or cut him (and then release him from the team :laugh2:)

I was saying Gaines to the Skins.

Where do you find this?

My dream Day 1 of the Draft.

1. Laron Landry, FS, LSU

2. Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona (move Henry to nickel)

3. John Beck, QB, BYU (perfect to groom behind Romo and a Vet.)

This is after OL and Pass rush are heavily focused on in Free Agency.

I don't think Peterson would fall out of the top 10. Houston (among others) needs a RB, he's the best.

FS is a bigger need on this team than RB.

Why am I required to love any player who is not all world?

I prefer to get better, not be loyal to anyone.

Gaines Adams would make our already sucky run defense even more suckier. So sucky that the NFL will have never experienced so much suck before.

I'm praying to lord that Cleveland remembers that its Cleveland and doesn't draft Alan Branch and Branch slips to the Skins.

Neither Jerry Jones nor Bill Parcells are very apt to pick an OL in the 1st rd., no matter how badly we need one. It's just not in their blood. We do need another pass rusher badly in order to keep the heat off of our pathetic secondary. As long as this defense plays pass with LBs on WRs, and 5-7 DBs on 6-3 WRs, then we are going to have to put some serious heat on the QB.

At #22 the Dallas Cowboys select:

Victor Abiamiri, OLB, Notre Dame, 6-4, 270, 4.6 (40).

Victor had 10 sacks, 14 QBH, & 14.5 TFL in 12 games. Although constantly double-teamed, Abiamiri led the Fighting Irish in pressuring the QB throughout the 2006 campaign. At 6-4, 270, with 4.6 speed, he would be ideal for the SOLB position. Greg Ellis is getting older, & doesn't like where he's playing, and Bobby Carpenter, though improving, seems to fit better inside.
DeMarcus Ware would finally have a pass rushing mate to take the pressure off of him, and attack from both sides.

Another possibility is Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska. Carriker is 6-6, 290, with 4.88 speed. He had 9.5 sacks his junior year, with 21 QBH. His numbers were down this year, but I'm wondering if it's because, with many seniors from last year gone, he's taking the brunt of the blocking schemes. He seems to be another Jason Hatcher, except he's played against top notch talent.
