Fire Garrett?

Garrett will be here 5 yrs from now. It will be ten if he gets us to a Superbowl. Jerry is looking for stability.( Stephen even more so) .He will have to win his share of NFC east titles but as long as his record is similar to what Coughlin and Reid have done over the last ten years he is safe.He is a great "face of the franchise"He is smart, diplomatic and able. All of the people calling for his scalp are ....ing into the wind. Jerry is volatile but thoughtful and Garrett is not going anywhere.

Money talks. The fans hate Garrett. CZ is not a good indication of the general Cowboys public IMO. I'm not even sure how many season ticket holders are members on this site. The people who matter (the ones spending money) will influence change if it's needed. I didn't personally watch that game live, but the fans I know who were there are NOT happy with Garrett. Reid had early success. Coughlin was on his way out before that magical 2007 run. I'd love a similar run from Garrett, but I'd also love to see him canned if it puts us in a good position to squeeze 1-2 Super Bowls out of what's left of Romo and Ware's careers.

I am not interested in a coach learning on the job. I never was.

The Boys are 7-5, were on a 4 game win streak.... They lose 1 game in crazy fashion and the answer is to fire JG?

Too much overreaction.. 4-1 in the last 5 games!!!
It could be much worse, we could have went 1-4 and be 4-8 right now.
Which would you prefer?

Do you really think he will make that mistake again? Hopefully not and hopefully he learns from it.

You must not have paid attention to his press conference it wasn't a mistake and there was nothing to learn from. He would do it again if the situation was the same. He has to much pride to admit he screwed up!

Give me a break? Cowher made many mistakes as a young coach. I said before it's refreshing to have a coach who has restored the order to Dallas and gotten rid of all the unprofessionalism. He ticks me off too... but I don't think he should be fired! Geeeesh!!

:laugh2: Nice post. Love it.

Not thrilled with yesterday's results but the team is 12-8 under Garrett after being 1-7 prior.

He's not getting fired any time soon.

I love how Garrett is totally obsolved of all wrong doing before becoming HC last year.

He has been running this offense since freaking 2007, he had full control over playcalling and personnel since then and Wade didnt do a dang thing on that side of the ball. Part of the reason we were 1-7 last year had to do alot with the offense or lack off. See Choice fumbling the ball and having it returned for a TD by the Skins in the openner last year. Or see Alex Barron nullifying a game winning TD by holding.

Garrett is held harmless and Wade took all the blame. Yep, it was all Wade's fault and Garrett had nothing to do with that 1-7 start.

FYI.......Wade is rocking the #1 ranked defense in the NFL down in Houston while Garrett is iceing his own kicker.
