No, he doesn’t.
It’d be nice if our fans had a little better understanding of what’s actually been going on all this time though.

We haven’t been 8-8 in a while. And when we were, it was with teams with sub-.500 talent.

We went 4-12 In 2015 after going 12-4 the previous season all because we lost our starting QB. Philly won a Super Bowl without their starting QB. The Colts are having a great season despite the retirement of Andrew Luck. The Saints won five straight games with their backup QB. The Cowboys were having a solid season in 2017 until they lost Zeke for six games and fell apart. We had a couple of key players out and ended up losing to the hapless Jets who may not win another football game the rest of the year. We made Sam Darnold who’s an INT machine look like a Hall of Fame QB. There’s teams around the league winning games despite key injuries because they’re well coached football teams. The Packers have had a number of key injuries but they keep winning. Wouldn’t surprise me if we come in flat and uninspired against the Giants next Monday night and allow Daniel Jones to have a career game.

I think its now or never. Garrett has accomplished a lot here, but it's not enough. He's been given ample time and the opportunity to put his fingerprints all over this team. We can probably agree there is a reason his contract hasn't been renewed up to this point. Its a tall task, but ownership feels they've given him the roster to make it happen. Its a trip to the NFC championship or bust. I dont think he has to win that game though. I think he only has to make progress and get there.
What has Garrett accomplished?

It doesn't end well for most teams. I know we hype up our team but let me know when we really have the better team. Know what the 3 beast teams in the NFC have in common? Good defenses.
Coaching puts teams in the NFL over the top. It’s why SF has the same team and is on a roll now. And why the patriots change personnel year in and year out and continue to compete for SBs.

Coaching coaching coaching.

You see New England now? Yea that used to be the Dallas Cowboys until Jerry fired Jimmy Johnson. Only a few years when Landry let the game pass him by in the 80s did we suck

SF has built an awesome defense over time not the same team.

Rams have the same staff as last year mostly but have not done as well...could it be they have less talent.

Why does Sean Payton only have 1 ring?

Talent matters. Coaching helps. Switzer didn't win cause he was a good coach. Takes both.

Yeah, and 13-3 in 2016 after losing the same starting QB. Let's not be selective just because we want to be depressed.

Garrett still needs to be fired. Despite the win vs Philadelphia. Color me unimpressed. Don’t get sucked back in folks. This franchise is going NOWHERE with Jason Garrett as it’s head coach.

Some of the worst moments in FRANCHISE HISTORY have happened under Jason Garrett’s creepy watchful eye. He has single handedly lost games no coach in Dallas Cowboys history have ever lost before.

We are forever 8-8 with Garrett. It’s time for a change. And a meaningless NFC East Championship won’t change that either

I repeat FIRE JASON GARRETT

So pretty much nothing he can do is going to alter your mind? I love the exaggeration he has single handedly lost games? lol Whatever

We lost Romo to what ultimately became our franchise QB and Romo wasn’t exactly the same QB by 2016. His body was broken down. The QB he was replaced by is in line to make 30+ million per season. There’s teams around the league winning games with backup QB’s that aren’t close to the ability of Dak. Philly moved on from the QB they won the Super Bowl with because he was a backup. Jacksonville and Carolina are winning games with backup QBs. Under Jason Garrett 3 career backup QB’s have had career games against the Cowboys, Matt Flynn Josh McCown and Colt McCoy. Sam Darnold had a career game against us and look what’s happened to him the last two weeks. lol

It's just sad that so many people rather than change their opinion based on objective fact, instead make facts a subjective thing to fit their existing opinion.

His coaching and preparation of the team has certainly cost the Dallas Cowboys football games

I hang my hat on reality. Sorry that it does not fit your 8-8 narrative.
Ok they went 9-7 and missed the playoffs that year.

Wouldn’t matter if they made the playoffs. They would’ve lost anyway. The main point is this team isn’t going anywhere under Jason Garrett. And I have 10 years and several “never happened before in franchise history” moments to back that up

It’s fascinating to see in action. Forums are such a microscope for online social behavior. It takes so little to get an otherwise bright and capable person to just disable the connection between their brain and their keyboard. Let alone the not-bright and incapable people.
