First Impressions on Cedric Thornton

He looks like the best interior DL we have had since Jay Ratliff was in his prime. Bringing pressure up the middle will create turnovers.

The DE's did nothing tonight. That is definitely concerning. I know, we didn't have McClain, Crawford and Lawrence, but Irving, McAdoo, Russell and anyone else pretty much whiffed from the outside. Irving got some pressure from the inside when he went in there.

Definitely more concerned about des after watching tonight. Wish we saw more from Irving and Russell on the outside and at the very least against the backups.

Thought our DTs were junk. I'm moving Irving back inside. He's just not a DE. I seriously think we could pick up 4 new camp bodies...and couldn't do worse....than what we already have.

Where was Okoye? McClain? Was disappointed in Coe...he has ZERO stamina. Zach Woods looks like a LBer. Gerald Dixon is a blimp w/ no lateral movement.

You know that McClain and Crawford didn't play, along with inj'd draft pick Collins. The DT's are fine. The guys you are complaining about aren't making the team...Coe, Okoye, Woods and Dixon are PS players at best.

Yea. I thought the DT's were fine considering 3/4 of our week 1 rotation did not even play.

My glimmer of hope for DE is that DLaw, Tapper, and Mayowa did not play and I think Irving can learn to play that LDE. Was not impressed with Russell at all, which was very disappointing.
