Twitter: First look at new WR Jonathan Mingo No. 81

Jerry has now dispatched multiple 4’s for a QB who can’t hit the field and another WR when Defense needs HELP . Brooks Flournoy so they go back to witness protection status ?

Carolina gets a 4 which should be early in that round , given the garbage record that might be piled up Dallas will be drafting early every round . WR wasn’t even on my list of needs next April or in Free agency .

Let's hope his play justifies his impressive physical appearance, although, it may take a while for him to familiarize with our offense. Patience will be required for things to go impressively. Let's face it -- we have little to lose, as badly as we need another decent WR. Cee Dee really needs help! In fact, it's entirely possible CD won't be able to play, with that shoulder still needing time to heal. We'll see how it goes. I'm wishing the team well.
Respect everything you are saying here with the exception of "it may take a while for him to familiarize..." that made me smile. Should take about 3 seconds if all the defenses in the NFL know what we are doing before the ball is snapped.

He's built differently for a WR. Looks like a huge TE or should play on the line in the trenches.

He was a prospect many love on the draft thread, has all the physical tools, just needs development. I think many are unjustly killing this kid cause of the price Jerry paid, but he has more upside then any receiver outside of Lamb in our WR room.

Flournoy 6’1 200-205 a physical YAC receiver exactly the traits Mingo has . My point is Dallas can’t seem to incorporate the receivers on the roster yet they trade for a receiver
Cowboys have also had a distinct prototype for the position, 6'2 over 200 lbs 4.4 speed. He is an ideal fit for what they seek.

Jerry pretty much overpays for everything.

Yea, I just posted he reminds me of AJ Brown.

I don't care what anyone says, the player, the coaches, his teammates, the owner, the fans or the media. I am done with all that. I will judge him by what he does on the field. I hope he succeeds, but I hoped Mazi would succeed to. It is up to the player.

So I'm sure this has been discussed in some other thread here, but humor me if so....

Should we assume one or both of Flournoy and Brooks have sooooo disappointed that neither took the next step, that now, one of them will be off the 53 shortly?
That would surprise me since Flournoy is a rookie and Brooks is just in his second year. If/When Cooks returns, we will have to make room of the roster, so I could see us sending Brooks to the practice squad.
