Fish: Cowboys are thinking about hiring Kellen Moore

Kellen Moore is nothing like the Jason Garrett, as he already has multiple years of experience as a play-caller. He's basically changed the Eagles offense into an RPO offense for Hurts and simplified the game for him. Hurts has only thrown 5 INTS. while last year he had 15, and they have the top ranked rushing attack.

And Fangio was probably the best hire in the off-season as the Eagles have basically gone from the worst defense to the best in the league.

BTW, Moore was about to be hired for the HC job of the Panthers, before they decided to go with Reich, who was a franchise legend. He also got picked up immediately when the Chargers under Harbaugh got rid of their staff and Charger fans absolutely hate Greg Roman, as they rightfully should. If the Chargers didn't get Harbaugh, they were retaining Moore.

I don't think he will have options.

Moore has a perception problem (right or wrong) in that he is perceived by NFL fans as a wussy goofball.

Teams are gonna have a hard time selling someone with his perceived personality to their fans.

Jerry and Stephen are more than comfortable with his persona because they believe his ascension is their doing, and also he's a much easier tool than most coaches.

From Kellen's perspective, you absolutely take the head coach job that you can get. And I think Dallas will be the only one seriously in the market for him.

He’s running one of the best offenses in the league and is considered a very talented, young football coach where plenty of coaches have been hired for far less. Any notion that no other team besides Dallas will be interested when there are slim pickings to begin with is ridiculous.

Moore is an X's and O's guy... Jason Garrett didn't bring anything of value as OC or HC.
