Some are really bad. Like Jaylo Smith making the pro bowl that year.

Biadasz played well. I can say I was a little surprised but if he had a bad season, trolls like you would have been all over him.

Biadasz has improved each year and took the next step.

Guys like you who said he sucked just cant handle it.

If he can be had for 8-10 million its an obvious resigning. Another pro bowl year and we may not be able to afford him.
He’s developed into a very solid center

Trolls like me? What makes me a troll because I disagree with you? I never said he sucked…..

Do you get a check once a month? Do you not remember asking me what “mid” meant? Please show me where I said he sucked?

Yeah for a week. It’s moronic to sign a long term deal in the NFL…..if you sign a long term deal and you start to suck they cut you. You sign a long term deal and you’re elite then you turn into the 9th highest paid guard and want more money. So again, why did he sign this deal?
Because he can hold out if his contract ever gets dramatically out of line with his position. Which is what he's doing now. That's the countervailing weight that players have vs. non-guaranteed contracts that can make you a FA at any time.

He puts it all on the line each and every day...he's entitled to ask how come?

Better pay Zack Martin first. He's holding out training camp because he's viewed as way underpaid at 7 million. He does have a point.
Oh my gosh. Stop making up lies, and get your facts straight.

Martin is counting $11 million against the cap this year, and he is the 3rd highest paid on the team this year after Dak and Tank.

Sheesh

No to Dak until after the season....trade Diggs....NOT worth the money he is gonna command.
Yep go back to guys like Brandon Weedin and Claiborne. Y’all crack me up. We have a great and very solid core, and y’all want them gone!!! Hahahahahshshsb

that is what happens when you front load a deal bonus money on continually restructuring with more bonus and guaranteed money.. they somehow forgot they got paid already it's in the bank.. all they see is the small salary in that given year.. ..

they agreed to it all, and they should honor it.
But the owners shouldn’t? I mean I’m with you, but we can’t be hypocritical! If the owners don’t expect to honor their long term contracts, the players shouldn’t either.

Per sport trac... In 2023, Martin will earn a base salary of $1,700,000 and a restructure bonus of $11,800,000, while carrying a cap hit of $11,040,000 and a dead cap value of $28,660,000.

Regardless he's underpaid compared to his fellow top og across the league. Wish he would fully honor his contract but him seeing tyron have injuries probably doesn't help. Limited earning duration in the NFL. Take care of yourself cause no one else is looking out for you.
Through the end of last season, Martin was paid 66mil over 5 years. 13 mil average.
If he completed the contract as is, he'd have 94mil over 7 years. A little over 13mil/year.

That was great when his contract started, and now under market years later.

Getting your money front loaded means you benefit *more* than your average salary in NPV. A good deal for players and owners if the player can do math and not get resentful on backend.

It's a propaganda concept to blame people for doing what you are doing to them. I'm not going to get into who came up with the concept but he is essentially trying to beat you to the punch.

I think you are overestimating the NFL talent level. Compared to Travis Frederick he might seem middling but there are not very many good centers in the NFL.

Take that, Zack Martin.

I want Martin to play, but his contract is sufficient. I think the Cowboys want to see him start dedicating himself to training more and beefing up, getting bigger stronger, better, and they see him coming into camp each year a little less athletic than the year before. Steele, on the other hand, from what I understand, had been with Brit the trainer a lot, but I'm honestly not there. So that may be false.

I heard they cut Jon Ridgeway because he kept owning Martin in practice.
