Fish on 105.3 the fan - Witten/Dez/Randle

I wonder if Randle is hearing 2 words from Garrett "Conduct Detrimental"?

I don't think so. These kinds of disagreements happen on football teams. Garrett has the team on really solid footing and I can't see something like this hurting anything. Hell, he had the team playing great through Brent's arrest and the death of a team mate.

This is a little different than your average tiff. This is one teammate throwing another under the bus behind his back. I'm not even sure how Randle can show his face in that locker room anymore.

Calling another teammate a "killer" crosses a line that cant be tolerated. Problem is, how hard you think Witten and the o-line is going to block for this POS now? You think Dez is going to be blocking downfield for a teammate that is complaining he didn't miss any games for smacking his mother around?

That's how things are handled on the field. Somebody is going to "accidentally" miss their block and let Randal get lit up.

There has to be more to this if there is serious consideration amongst the team to release Randle. Based on what has been made public to us, it would seem drastic to release a guy who is a key contributor as a backup RB and STs player.

Ok, but keep a part time player on your team who is disrespecting his teammates? It's a soft approach and it should be set as an example to the team that this kind of action won't be tolerated.

I agree. To what's been given to the public I haven't seen anything warranted a release.

A little more detail:

Friday’s practice at Valley Ranch began with Dallas Cowboys starting wide receiver Dez Bryant and reserve running back Joseph Randle jawing back and forth at each other.
After the team lined up for their pre-practice stretching, Randle kept talking. That caused Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, who was just in front of Randle, to turn around and yell and curse at the second-year player, “Don’t say nothing from here on out.”

Randle appeared to say something else, causing Witten to turn around again and address him.

The Washington Post Headline, stupid Post:

Cowboys’ Jason Witten gives verbal wedgie to underwear shoplifter Joseph Randle

I didn't know goofing off warranted being cut.

"Goofing off" was Fish's phrase I believe. Witten wouldn't tell him to shut up if he was goofing off. He would have told him to get his butt in gear.
The issue had to be something he was saying.

We are a loss away from this thing falling apart.

This reminds me of Seattle a couple weeks ago. Everyone piled on, they had a few problems. Then they responded with a win. A bit ugly, but still a win. We need to do the same thing...

Dude, you stole Canoe and Underoos. And you're still talking noise?

I know a just through out another Seattle comparison. But, ie: Percy Harvin. And JR isn't even that good.

Good (about Witten). Vets like that on a team are invaluable. Players get kind of used to the coaches yelling at them, but when a player that is loved and so well respected in the locker room yells at you, it certainly gets their attention.
Yet there are some in here who want to run him off.

First we lack leaders and when we finally get some.........

I agree. There's more to this than a simple goofing off.
