Fish says Jerry would hire Romo in a second

The guy who showed up overweight every training camp for the 2nd half of his career and the guy who CBS constantly complained, “He’s unprepared and not putting in the work” is the guy to be added to Jerry’s staff? Yeah, that is very on brand with how our dysfunctional franchise is run.

Let Garrett learn on the job for a decade rather than hiring a legitimate head coach and empowering him to do his job.

This is all business as usual, and nothing about it says we are “all in”.
like I have said again and again, show me a source other then CBS for your garbage claims
show anyone else making those claims?
as regards training camp. so what?

Imagine calling a UDFA from a small school who worked his way into being the starting QB for the biggest team in the league “entitled and lazy”.
Come on man. Be honest Romo got heavy late in his career and clearly stopped working hard on his analyst job. He is an amazing guy but had a real chance to be more.

I say flat out you are full of it
You keep calling it clear he stopped working hard at his job
SHOW ME anyone besides CBS saying that and those were nothing but rumors as no one ever stepped up to own it
Are you trying to say you are so smart that no one else in the football world noticed this but You?

I would hope Tony takes time. Figures out what he wants to do
I seriously do not see him wanting to be a coach and having to deal with all of that
and he has to remember who would not let him at least compete for his job that last year with the Boys
does he really want anything to do with Jethro any more?
No way will he work for Jerry......and spend another career with no shot at a Championship?

If he does go somewhere it would likely be for a competent FO

Romo would bring something we have been missing since 2016. A winner mentality with some b4llz. The current QB plays to protect his stats and be safe. He plays to lose. Ide take a gunslinger anyway of the week over a guy that blew the game last week on his 10 yard high throw away with the game on the line.
Romo for Dallas Cowboys GM and slash offensive coordinator. Let Romo design the plays and be in the ear of play caller in this case Schottenheimer. I like the idea of Romo in charge, having final word. I was disappointed in Schottenheimer for his play calling against the Ravens last week. I can't stand when an offense is running at will and at the 2 yard line decides to get pass happy. Play calling must improve.

I would take Tony today as GM, OC or QB coach.
Yeah, all the above and play call designer. What would a Tony Romo designed offense look like, I would like to find out. The guy is the definition of a great football minded individual. You can tell by the way he played the game and his knowledge of the game working for CBS. It is unlikely to happen but it is fun to talk about, and I think it would improve the Cowboys .

Take a look at the absolute state of this guy posing in his bathroom with his hot takes… :lmao:

What a moron Fish is.
Well, I don’t know about a “moron” but he is definitely a different cat. Eating peanuts during one of his videos (or whatever it was) was “different” for sure. Lol.

Good one.
I’m planning on drinking if the game with the Texans isn’t going well. Philly is so ravaged with injuries there is no way they are winning tomorrow. The Giants with lord only knows who’s quarterbacking going forward don’t have a prayer. The Commanders might eke out a win tomorrow, but are heading for a top five draft pick. The division is there for the taking. Can’t lose to winless Houston.

Troy would be horrible as a GM.
Why?
you make a blanket claim like that, show some evidence
Honestly, Elway was able to get a ring as GM and I think Troy would do a better job
