Jerry wants to re-sign Porter but it takes two to tango

[JayFord]

Aye bruh

Man aint even suited up for gameday yet

[darthseinfeld]

How did you drive it home?

My older sister lol

[lwehlers]

well at least porter can be franchised for one year if he is worth it. then again he might hold the cowboys hostage and holdout like he did to the steelers. maybe the cowboys can trade him and get back some wasted lower round picks.

[StarLord]

Jerruah loves to not pay players who perform. Watch many other sorry players that the Cowboys like will get deals before him.

We won't be able to afford him. We gotta pay Overshown.

[johneric8]

All this talk is premature, the organization needs to see what kind of impact that Porter has on the field before talking any long term contract. Even Jethro hinting at that he would like to sign him is ridiculous considering we haven't seen how he will perform.

[gtb1943]

way too early in the season to say anything definite

The fact that we were able to stuff Henry when it mattered is a definite improvement from last year
The defense came up with some stops in that game

I still have hope

[TequilaCowboy]

Jerry, It may take two to tango, but you can do the cotton eye joe all by yourself.... AGENT....you don't need no stinkin". agent.....

[rambo2]

Jerry is a horrible Poker player and is once again negotiating in the media.
Seriously, you don't give up a 2nd round pick for a one year rental unless you fully intend to resign him.

They get back a 3rd rounder if they don't sign him, so basically just move back a bit to have a top corner for the 2026 season.

[Praxit]

...easy Jerry, lets see how it pans out.
