From those highlights, Carolina definitely had a better pass rush than us. .. Wonder how well hardy would perform without as much help?

I know he would strengthen the unit, and that's a positive... Just curious if he's as elite as his #s
And Welcome To The Fold Just211!

New England, perfect case in point.

They signed Revis and won a Super Bowl. This year, they let him walk.

They didn't let him walk. Jets threw qb money at him and he wanted to go "home."

Conversely we let Murray walk.

Things are changing around here. 5 years ago this deal would have already been done, us overpaying like usual. We finally understand that most likely we are only bidding against ourselves since most likely nobody else is involved. I mean if the Raiders aren't interested than who other than us would be?

I expect this deal to get done but it might take some time.

The contract he signed last year was for 2 years (a team option). NE declined the option and he became a free agent. So they let him walk more than you say we let Murray walk (which as ABQ put it is simply semantics on your part anyway).

if they went to the trouble of taking to his old coaches then atleast they are serious which is a good sign.

RB >>>>>> corners or Murray >>>>>> revis

Gut feeling: hardy will sign w/ cowboys

What's the Cowboys relationship with Rosenhaus like? Didn't they have issues in the past?

How many championships have we won the last 3 going on 4 years with this kind of thinking? lot's of you guys forget that. the NFL is a win now league.

Well, I'm pretty sure he was TO's agent when we signed him. Now, I don't know if that meants we have a good relationship or not but we have at least had dealings with him in the past. I'm sure there have been more that we have signed with him but I am not privy to his client list.

I didn't know much about this guy before today, but he sounds like too perfect of a fit to not land him. Our defense needs help in the worst way with pass rush. Get it done!

Correct, I couldn't think of who he represented last time his name was attached to a player we signed.

Now that is a great question. This line boasts... Crawford and hopefully a developing Lawrence. The rest are guys, no more, no less.
He is a top end talent- no doubt and he would improve not only the entire line, but the entire defense, but how much? Especially when it will be him eating all the double-teams.

Did he take on consistent double teams in Carolina? I'd like to know that...

Hardy and Lawrence with Mincey and Spencer (if he returns) off the bench would be a strong rotation at end--potentially, dare I say it, elite.

I admit- I'm pretty much with you there. At least close to elite and they were so close last year that, all things being equal in terms of injury, you wouldn't be able to help but be strongly optimistic of this team's chances going forward.

i think they maintain relationships with all the prominent agents. I'm sure they privately like some over others, but I doubt it is a huge thing for them.
