Tony has lasted 75 snaps on average before getting knocked out over the past 2 years. His technical passing superiority over Dak is irrelevant, one big hit, and he's done forever.

I could see them stretching this thing out to Thanksgiving. The three days rest doesn't seem palpable for Tony at this point. After Sunday, you've got three AFC opponents. It doesn't seem like there's much of a chance at Cleveland simply due to the lack of practice time he would see before that game. At that point I'm not sure it wouldn't be worth it to keep Dak for two more games and really allow Romo to return prepared.

What? Dallas ran empty set shotgun with Romo a lot. Yes they run the zone read, but that's not the end all. We saw what it did to bob3 and it's going to get Mariota killed. Kap is a shell of his former self and it's taken a toll on Wilson as he's playing injured. The zone read IMO is not sustainable longterm.

You need to go back and watch tape of Romo again I think you're memory is cloudy.

Zone read worked for us twice in the Bengals game in the red zone. BUT the Packers had film of it and shut it down when we tried it on them. Dak got gang tackled on the 2.

I do NOT want to see him taking that kind of contact regularly.
