Fisher: Lewis active, Jaylon to start

Sweet! Lewis is rusty as hell and gets to face the giant juggernaut receivers! Trial by fire!

Ballers gon' ball! He will pick off Eli! Book it

That one would be a shocker for me. After all of the time missed, I don't expect Lewis to be active. If he is, why bother to trade for Benwikere at all?

I need to see another source confirm that news.

I was wondering if he was going to start when I saw their official depth chart for week 1 the other day.

Smith and Hitchens were the only 2 players listed at MLB.

I am surprised with Jaylon. I hope I am dead wrong but I thought he needed more time. He was such a stud in college but not sure he is ready with his speed or change of direction yet.

So here we go, I wonder if they are rushing JS a bit but I guess they feel he can do everything.

That kid is such a natural. I wouldn't be surprised if he picks off Opi Gump. However, in order for that to happen we have to get them out of their 3 step game. If I was laying odds I would put it at 15% likelihood that he gets a pick.

I fully expect our cornerbacks to be worked over. The rookies got next to no meaningful reps in preseason/practice and no familiarity with proven NFL talent ala OBJ and Marshall.

Are you expecting the rookies to be lined up against those players a lot?

Awesome. Jaylon must really be ready because they don't have to rush him.
Is that sarcasm? ;) Honestly, I'm excited to see JS play, but wonder if it's more about Durant NOT being able to play and us going with the best option available. It would be great to see JS do well from the very start.

I'm surprised to see that Lewis is active. Probably just special teams though... for now.
