I have been a skeptic of jaylons actual talent but I don't care about a few missed tackles, I just hope he stays healthy for his mental. Good luck to him
Oh you predicting some of our players to underperform? Good, I know we are going to be ok then. Too bad Jaylon never recovered though, huh?I fully expect our cornerbacks to be worked over. The rookies got next to no meaningful reps in preseason/practice and no familiarity with proven NFL talent ala OBJ and Marshall.
Wasn't really sarcasm. I just hope Jaylon improves as the season goes on.Is that sarcasm? Honestly, I'm excited to see JS play, but wonder if it's more about Durant NOT being able to play and us going with the best option available. It would be great to see JS do well from the very start.
I'm surprised to see that Lewis is active. Probably just special teams though... for now.

Per reliable Theebs:
Are you expecting the rookies to be lined up against those players a lot?
I keep hearing about generational talent and how he was maybe the best player in the draft last year. I didn't see that from the film. He's good but I don't think he's what he's hyped asActual talent?
I'll take my chances with Chido and Lewis over Carroll!!!

Frankly, I'd be surprised if Awuzie and Lewis even play a lot. Rod is going to ride his "vet presence" Nolan Carroll. Brown will be the third CB and I suspect if we go dime, we'll see someone like Frazier as the 6th DB.
I'm a fan of both guys. I just hope what I saw from Jaylon in run defense in college isn't an issue now. Too many arm tackles. I want him to be a pro bowler day 1. I don't care about being wrongLet me guess............. Myles Jack fan?
I should've worded it differently. I don't mean they are rushing him, I mean he must be ready because there is no need to rush him so they wouldn't.Jaylon isn't being rushed. It's been 20 months since his injury. They considered playing him at the end of last season. He looks fine on the field. It's simply time.
That one would be a shocker for me. After all of the time missed, I don't expect Lewis to be active. If he is, why bother to trade for Benwikere at all?
I need to see another source confirm that news.
