If they do so then you can bet the judge is going to rule against the NFL.

Waiting for some of the lawyers to chime in on this, but it appears that the NFL may not have many options at this point. They played the game and lost, so how do they recover? I'm going to be very curious what happens next

Because the NFL realized that they had missed the window for keeping him out of this week's game despite claiming there was no window. When faced with a judge asking, suddenly the gamesmanship falls to the side and the truth comes out.

That said, everyone needs to remember, the only person reporting this so far is Fisher. Not saying he's wrong, but it would be nice to hear confirmation from multiple sources.

Maybe there is no rule in the CBA, but the judge forced them to answer the question, and if they answered the other way it would force tough questions on why this case is different than any other case where they held that rule.

Judge will rule that they'll adjourn until Henderson issues his ruling. Zeke plays Sunday, back in court next Tuesday.

I think in general, the whole "distraction" angle is over exaggerated. It's not like the entire roster and coaching staff have spent the entire last two weeks talking/thinking about the Elliott case instead of preparing for the game.

This stuff dominates headlines, social media, the Internet....but in terms of it actually affecting our players and overall performance I don't buy that it's a huge factor.

Hate to say it but was thinking the same thing. This reminds me of the scenario in,"The Longest Yard" where Mara, Goodell, and the head of NFL officiating walk in to the Giants looker room and tell the Giants to unleash hell on ole Zeke. It's going to be a war and ALL eyes will be on #21 Sunday night.
