Twitter: Fisher On Claiborne

Mo would be OK on a small contract and be viewed and used as a rotational...come into games type player...but not as the go too starter. He has good talent...but is never going to be reliable because of his fragility. He is still an asset...but needs to be used as a specialist. Never any trouble with Mo off the field and has always been a hard worker and good Cowboy. Reliability is the only question. Bring him back under special conditions. No other club will sign him as a staryer. Cowboys advantage.

Why are you acting like he's not replaceable? Anyone who can actually play a full season is automatically better.

Id much prefer have someone play great for eight games than have someone suck for 16. So no, any able-bodied db is not automatically better.

Claiborne has never played "great". He's been good. You're wrong. The greatest ability is availability. Claiborne does not possess that.

Amen. That is the absolute truth. Time to move on from Claiborne as the go to starter. No problem with him on the cheap as a back up...rotational guy coming off the bench...league minimum. Not too much more.

Yeah. It's silly wanting to have players that aren't injured all the time. What is he thinking?
It's like you're not familiar with players like Terrance Newman.

You a new Cowboys fan?

If you can get a good talent almost free....you should do it...always.

Yeah, I'm new. I just started watching this season after we replaced Tony Roma

Looking like Mo Claiborne will sign with Baltimore

We'll see. That report seemed a bit indefinite. If he does, it's probably because we wanted to let him walk, since there doesn't seem to be much market for him.

Given that Carroll looks like a Carr replacement, letting Mo walk would be pretty telling.
