It was an overpay based on the guaranteed money and years. He got 7.2m in guarantees, Antonio Brown got 8.5m in guarantees. Dallas could have slapped the original round tender on him for 1.5m or the second round tender for 2.4m. I would take a second round pick in a heartbeat for Beasley. So to save 400k on the cap for 2015 they added 12m to the deal.
