Oh alright no I didn't know thanks.I assume you know about his labrum. That is the deal with him.

Maliek Collins was useless since he didn't have ota's and training camp.
Oh, wait?
McKinley is much more dynamic than the others and has a motor. I think he will be way better than Harris and Charlton when healthy. The fact he played through the labrum inj and still excelled is incredible. I do have interest in Watt as well.
If people don't think McKinley's status will drop him some they are fooling themselves. Just comes down to how much of the season you think he is gonna miss.
My biggest concern is his height. Its so funny how people can watch the same players and see such different things. I am not a big college football watcher, but i think most of us watch draftbreakdown vids. Itd be fun to watch a video simultaneously and discuss. For example with takk...i think he showed more against Utah than some players show in all their tape. People rip Taks hips, sure hes not a cb, but multiple times in that film he flipped around from between the hash marks and proceeded to chase people down in backfield flats. He played the wholeeee season with a torn labrum, still dominated. Thats toughness. Sign me up.

You mentioned the Utah game as good one for him.
Ive heard it/read it several times that scouts had said that he had just as many games where he was essentially shut down and made no impact at all.
Did you notice this by chance?
His height/arm-length combination is interesting. He is 6-2, but has 34-3/4" arms.People have mentioned that with his lower center of gravity and long arms he will find it easier to get up under pads and drive tackles back. I tend to ageee; maybe less batted balls ? but hes 6'2. Not 5'9
In 2016 there are 5 films available. He made multiple plays in each one. Standford tackle gave him some trouble, but also was grabbing a lot of jersey. He also demanded double teams at times.
Like i said, i didnt watch during the season, but its apparent his labrum was giving him troubles. People rip his hands but i somewhat think his injury played a role in that. I imagine its easier on the injury to lock out your arms and go to work on the tackle rather than hand fight and stress shoulder.
The guy is also very aware in the run game fighting of blocks. I have to believe he will be gone before we pick unfortunately. Hes tough, plays through injury, doesnt give up on plays and is a freak athlete with near 35 inch arms! They stood him up a few times and blitzed him up the middle and its like watching a missile.
All that and hes only 2 years removed from JUCO.
Want to see someone disappear? Watch carl lawson, but set an alarm because you will fall asleep. Charles harris to some extent too.
I encourage you to watch for yourself tho, must vids are between 6-10 mins.
Also. Go milwaukee bucksss!
Or he could be ready in 4 months, the positive side of the rehab. How about comparing his situation to Demarcus Lawrence? Lawrence actually participated in offseason activities and was injured on July 30, 2014. Slated to miss 8-12 weeks, he didn't play until week 9 of the season and went on to do very little that year.
McKinley's shoulder surgery has a recovery period of up to 6 months, putting his return in September, effectively missing any offseason work at all.
Collins' injury was a 10-12 week injury as well, roughly half of what is expected for McKinley.
This in a nutshell.
The difference between a healthy McKinley versus a Watt or Bowser is not wide.
I'd go Watt over McKinley anyway.I'm not sure if Watt and Bowser weren't better to begin with.

Not sure how a guy injured at the start of preseason and training in camp is comparable to a guy that had surgery months before the season. Even 6 months recovery he is back in early September and would likely be used as a pass rushing specialist to start.
