Five facts about Jason Garrett:

1: He refuses to stick with the running game, even when it is working

2: He always looks for the big play, even when it is clearly not there

3: He hasnt made a single successful in-game adjustment in 3 years. Not one.

4: His play selection is downright mornic. A functionally retarde chimpanzee would have more success by randomly picking plays. It's almost like he TRIES to hold our offense back.

5: He's a ginger, which means he is not to be trusted

One reason to go pass in that situation on the goal line is clock management. If you run and don't make it you burn alot more time than by trying to pass the ball.If the ball is placed out in front of Witten you have 6 points instead of a pick.

Craig

Thank-you Kaptain obvious. I mean Craig...

That's not correct. Running effectiveness has very little correlation to winning in the NFL. Last year's Super Bowl teams were two of the worst rushing teams in the league.

You run the ball to keep defenses honest, and it doesn't really matter how well you can run it, as long as you're not consistently getting stuffed or losing yardage.

That is what I was getting at, I'm not talking math when I say efficiency. You don't have to run the ball for 6 yards every carry to have it be an efficient part of your overall gameplan just like a receiver doesn't have to have 10 catches to be doing his job and effecting the game.

Issues? Issues like going to the Superbowl? Arizona and the Steelers were among the WORST running teams last year and where did they end up?

Of course it helps if you can run the ball. But what prize did we get when we ran for 230 yards on the Giants? A LOSS. Romo was off that day and we got beat. Games are won and lost these days on quarterback play, rushing the passer and secondary play.

If I was unclear, allow me to be so now. I would say Garrett is in the boat of not WANTING to run the ball (at times), I wasn't talking math. I would say not wanting to run the ball is far worse than not being able to.

The more he is around the less I like Jason Garrett. 13 rushes and 30 passes today? He has no feel for the game at all. In my opinion he calls plays he doesnt set up a defense at all.

okay, I'm not the most football savvy at all, but...

Usually, when it is cold or wet, you generally become more dependent on the ground game right?

Secondly, I'm still at a loss as to how we cannot really do much on the ground with 3 great RBs that even before pre-season was and still is a huge strength for this team.

Garrett is too stupid or too stubborn to see the flow of the game. We are rushing for over 4 yards a clip and yet he calls up 41 passes to 11 runs. It is the same story over and over again. Every time Dallas gets into a tough grind it out type defensive game you look at the box score after the game and Garrett couldnt remain patient and kept trying to force the passing offense. It usually ends up with Dallas finishing with a 70 plus percent pass to run ratio.

Until Garrett develops the stomach to run the ball on a consistent basis, we will continue to see games like this. I've just had it with him. I don't care how highly ranked our offense is right now. Anyone that knows anything about football knows you can't consistently win without running the ball. Wade, or heaven forbid even Jerry Jones, needs to tell Garrett to run the freaking ball and quit throwing it around like a damn PlayStation game. It just amazes me that a professional offensive coordinator cannot see this. I just don't get it.

Garrett sucks.

He's bailed out more by players, Romo, Miles, Choice, etc. than anything he comes up with.

He has no sense of game management. It's all big play, pass happy all the time.

You can count the times on one finger or two how many times he's called three runs in a row, but count the number of miles to the moon he's done the opposite with the pass.

Hell of a post.
