Uh...no.

It's been well documented that teams who have better QB efficiency than the opposing team's QB win about 75%(+) of games. This data holds up season after season. This has been talked about in great depth on this forum and the matter isn't worth re-hashing again.
It's well established that time consuming scoring drives and playing decent defense wins games. See the 2017 Cowboys . Stats are one thing .Actual games are another.
Ill take my ground and pound and beat your passing team 9 out of 10 times.

we should also dont absolve our DTs who have been completely underwhelming, collins has been very dissapointing and Marinelli has handicapped our 1tech from the moment he got here.

I'm not going to debate you because no evidence will change your mind. Keep imagining what you wish--I won't get in your way.

Losing sucks especially when you wait all year for the season to start.

But if losing means Garrett is gone it’s the best thing for this franchise

most of the teams in this league are really close if you don't get turnovers you will lose more than u win its that simple sacks at the right time are big but turnovers are HUGE
Turnovers are only good if it turns into a score for your team or it can stop the other team from scoring but in some cases you get turnovers but you don't score off of it and you're not really preventing their score it's just a meaningless stat.

Sadly the Cowboys need to do a lot of things to turn this season around and I don't know if Garrett and his staff are capable of doing it only time will tell there is no one thing they can do to fix their problems they have a lot of issues

I'm a big believer that Passing Offense and Passing Defense determines games.

However, there is a threshold where the running game can take over and win games. If you can gain--or if you yield--near 6 yards a game...that's usually going to swing a game.

Teams consistently sitting at 2nd and 4...are going to shred you.

In our 3 losses the Dallas D has allowed this to happen:

Broncos...5 yards per carry
Rams...5.5 yards per carry
Packers....6.4 yards per carry

Our secondary has been decent. (Linebackers in pass defense is a different story) But the front 7 has been a train-wreck in terms of run defense.

On Sunday--for the first time--we'll have Lee, Hitchens and Irving all suited up. The time is now to start stopping the run and if the boys can do it...the narrative of the season will change.
I would just say the Defensive secondary is NOT decent.

They are not playing the ball well..

not batting down passes enough and missing tackles.

They are also getting very untimely penalties that extend drives too much.

So change that part of your post and I will agree.

Well then...we'll have to disagree. I definitely and emphatically won't change my assessment of the secondary.

Only Heath and Frazier have played poorly--the rest have been average or above average.

Lewis ranks highly. Mel Kiper has him ranked in the top 10 of all the rookies in the entire draft. (8th)

It can happen. But also Marmalade Marinelli better stop with his patented, conservative, bull****!

Let the players play, and make a play.

He only knows one way to call defense. He'll surprise everyone with maybe 1-2 aggressive gameplans each season. That's it.

Tight up the run defense and get a four leaf clover, tears from a gypsy, and a lucky rabbits foot

I recall more critical penalties from the front 7.
Mayowa hit the QB with his helmet when DLaw already had him in the grasp.

Hirchens had a facemask when they had stopped the opponent on a critical 3rd down.

We have been flagged for 4 pass interference penalties in 2017, which is about in the middle.

Bengals have been flagged for 10. Skins and Raiders only 1.

I seem to recall one or two that were borderline calls that were flagged on us.
