Put Flacco in the Cowboys offense and he is nowhere near the "success" he is at Baltimore.

I would still take Romo over Flacco right now. Although Romo is a big fat choker.

Until Tony learns to take care of the football, yeah, I'd take Flacco over him.

What he's done as a rookie is pretty remarkable.

You're comparing apples to a double cheeseburger.

What would Flacco be able to do in our offense? That's the question. I think he would put up monster numbers. What would Romo look like in Baltimore? With no receivers, an average O-Line and an average running game? He would look terrible.

Seriously? Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, although I'd venture to say you're in the minority on that one.

I dont think you quite understand what these QB's are asked to do for their respective teams

Peyton Manning has lost in the first round of the playoffs 6 times.

Think about that.

Does that take away from his regular season performances or other playoff success?

I thought that I saw a stat that said Manning played like 93 games in the league before he won a playoff game, Romo is around 40 some games played.

Ravens do not ask much of Flacco and not as much as Dallas leans on Romo. Right now the Ravens are running the ball and playing very good defense in doing this it takes the pressure off of Flacco and makes his job a bit easier. In 3rd and long situation the Ravens are just as content in running the ball or a short high percentage pass and punting it allowing the defense to go out and get the ball back.

We scored 6 in our last game of the season which, if I do recall, was a playoff atmosphere. Your point?
That it's nice to not need more than 13 points to advance in the playoffs? Are you arguing that had the Eagles had 10 points, we'd not have scored more than 6? Because that argument would be almost as lame as anointing Flacco as Romo's superior because Flacco had a better "last game" than Romo.
How many turnovers did Tony have in that game?

How many turnovers did Flacco have today?
Well, since we're reducing the sum total of both players careers to one single game, for the ease of your pedantic point, let's wait until next week when Flacco faces a tough defense in a "playoff atmosphere". The same defense he went 11-28 with 2 picks as his team scored 9 points for a QB rating of 22.2, far lower than any game Romo had this year.

Criminey, this place sure proves the point about infinite monkeys with typewriters...

Who started this thread?

If Tennessee does not leave 17 points on the field through turnovers Flacco does not get a win period, because, they don't ask him to do anything because they know he can't handle it. 11-22 for 180 yeareds or something, somon, please!!!

Way to much credit and blame to the QB position for sure!

I like Flacco but if he were in Dallas he would be catching hell. He had 14 TD and 12 ints on the season Romo had 26 TD and 14 ints and missed 3 games. Flacco is not being asked to carry the load as Tony Romo is and while it is great to talk about QB taking the team to the playoffs that is a crock teams make the playoffs not 1 man

I dont get this.

Give Flacco ALOT of playmaking weapons and he WOULDNT be successful??
Make his QB life easier and less pressure with ALOT more talent and he WOULDNT be successful??

Doesnt make sense.

Flacco has some good weapons but the Ravens are not asking him to carry that team. He had 14 TD and 12 ints hell Romo would catch major hell for that. Trying to compare what the Ravens ask of Flacco and what the Cowboys ask of Romo is not even close.

Give him an Oline that leaks like a sieve and he would be putrid!
