It seems like a weird pairing at first BUT if you think about Belichick has struggled in personnel, primarily drafting, which is now a strength for Dallas.

Culture, along with X's and O's, is where Belichick could help this franchise take it to the next level. He isn't the de facto GM and just focuses on the players he has (and has drafted for him), with similar input that McCarthy and Quinn have now.

This is all assuming an unfortunate early exit by this team.
Ohhhh you have come around

I would be against this. Even if McCarthy is blamed for the playoff exit and is fired.
Agreed. I'd rather keep McCarthy. What has Belichick done without Brady? Not much. It will be easier to replace defensive coaching assuming Quinn leaves this time than to find an offensive guy that can keep Dak going strong.

If Belichick wouldn't give up personnel authority in New England, why would he come to Dallas? I just don't see this. And Belichick is a defensive guy. How would that work with Quinn as DC? I would love Belichick as the DC but there is no way he takes that role after being a HoF HC for the Patriots.

All of this talk is straight up silly.

I mean, flat out.

Just stop trolling for attention. The focus needs to be on Green Bay. Clowns like Bobby Belt are saying he doesn't even really respect Green Bay. Some of our fans are seriously underestimating what the Packers have done in the last 10 weeks.

As am I

Who would run the offense? Josh McDaniel? Bill O' Brian? Matt Patricia?

It would be nothing but a disaster
His Offensive Coordinator choice would be intriguing.

Josh has shown me that he can be stubborn and maybe doesn't understand modern players. He was spoiled by Tom Brady.

O'Brien is a Grade A you-know-what.

Belichick would be wise to sign one of these up and coming offensive minds (think Ben Johnson, Bobby Slowik, Joe Brady, Klint Kubiak)

My vote is Zack Robinson, current Rams QB coach and passing game coordinator, who has spent the last 4 years under Sean McVay.

Find himself a Sean Payton like Parcells did. ;)

There's Tom Brady.....and then there's Mac Jones.....I can't judge him on not getting nothing out of Mac Jones.
I'm with you. But, I won't absolve him from picking Mac Jones because he figured he could coach him up. Then doubles down by having Zappe be his backup, after starting the season with one QB on the 53.

I like and respect the Hoodie, but he isn't a QB guru in my eyes. He needs someone who will be working with the Dallas QB (especially since Prescott is going to get an extension).

Well I don't think anyone ever called him a QB guru. He had a eye for getting the most out of guys no one else wanted. Nobody wanted Brady for whatever wanted.

Yeah I heard on I think Speak that McCarthy is the 3rd oldest coach in the league now which is crazy because I don't consider him "old".
He is, we've talked about it on forum. Think he's 2nd? Believe Andy Reid was only one blocking him. Rivera, Carroll, Belichick, Reich, they're all gone.

Young man's league I guess. Although Big Mac's strength is chemistry, people person, approachable... all help him last longer than other older coaches. Same as Andy Reid.

Give old men who can change credit. It's a tough part about getting old and requires courage and ego dropping. And #1 reason to be wary of Belichick.

Either you can adapt to the new environment or you have a style that is conducive to today's league. Not sure if Belichick checks those boxes.

It is but when you think about it? Aside from McVey none of these young guys are impressive either. Well i'd say Shanahan is.
