I like the offense we run now.
The defense would be better at stopping the run if the personnel was right.
He does get a little stupidly aggressive at times, but if Dallas loses today it won’t be because of McCarthy directly.
They are as set up as possible to go far, but it’s almost as if the entire long drought is blamed on MM…and they are NOT the favorites in the NFC. That goes to a team with a GM that goes out and gets the necessary players they need to win now, not one thats worried about signing draft picks years from now.
Despite a couple of bugs, I like the overall concept of the passing game and what has meant to Dak Prescott,
who in turn had his best season in his career.
- Coaches well scheme/design Lamb to constantly be moved around, so it makes it that much difficult
to double team and bracket CeeDee - it seems like a McVey/Cooper Kupp like move 'em around scheme
- Add that to Dak/Lamb rapport connection which has been awesome and flat difficult to stop.
- Still think Brandin Cooks is being used more like a possession WR than a deep threat/big splash like WR.
and still do not understand why he was so phased out of the offense 1st half season, but so very glad adjusts
made to involve him ...period.
- I remain very disappointed in how our RBs are not being schemed/utilized- a lousy run game, and no use
of the RBs in the pass game.
Finally saw RB vs pass in instances/glimpses vs Washington.
-
HUGE big key in playoffs will be Dak vs zone shell coverages - same way
