I don't want him.
Just imagine if Belichick comes over and we still lose... that would be the end of it, kill myself time.

Something had been missing with Bilicheat the last couple years. I think the passion is gone

Besides if MM is out Quinn is in.

I tend to think Florio probably would be right, actually, if we lose today... I'd call it 60/40.

If our exit is next weekend, it's a toss up, but I'd lean 51/49 toward thinking the pervasive thought in the inner sanctum of The Star, ie the Joneses' offices, would be to not shake everything up violently and ride with McC.

The only way McC loses his job if he makes it to the conference championship, imo, is if there is some very explicit irrefutable screw-up of game-changing magnitude that occurs against the Niners... or if it's not the Niners and we lose a game we were favorites to win, then any irrefutable coaching screw-up...

And setting aside the fickle attitude of people like Florio who one day praise the guy and the next will in the same breath praise aggressiveness from the head coach across the field while denigrating the very same attitude from McCarthy...

I don't see any of that happening.

That's b/c McC is a highly competent head coach who time and time again has proven himself to be, at worst, in the next-to-upper tier of all head coaches... and is poised with this post season, if ultimately successful, to put himself confidently in that upper tier for lock-certain.

I’d take harbaugh and we’d go to a Super Bowl. He builds up the lines, plays bully ball and gets **** done
I wanted Harbaugh last time when he was available. The way he turned around 49ners was impressive. We need a coach who can infuse toughness and discipline into this team to the next level.

I like the offense we run now.

The defense would be better at stopping the run if the personnel was right.

He does get a little stupidly aggressive at times, but if Dallas loses today it won’t be because of McCarthy directly.

They are as set up as possible to go far, but it’s almost as if the entire long drought is blamed on MM…and they are NOT the favorites in the NFC. That goes to a team with a GM that goes out and gets the necessary players they need to win now, not one thats worried about signing draft picks years from now.
Despite a couple of bugs, I like the overall concept of the passing game and what has meant to Dak Prescott,
who in turn had his best season in his career.

- Coaches well scheme/design Lamb to constantly be moved around, so it makes it that much difficult
to double team and bracket CeeDee - it seems like a McVey/Cooper Kupp like move 'em around scheme

- Add that to Dak/Lamb rapport connection which has been awesome and flat difficult to stop.

- Still think Brandin Cooks is being used more like a possession WR than a deep threat/big splash like WR.
and still do not understand why he was so phased out of the offense 1st half season, but so very glad adjusts
made to involve him ...period.

- I remain very disappointed in how our RBs are not being schemed/utilized- a lousy run game, and no use
of the RBs in the pass game. Finally saw RB vs pass in instances/glimpses vs Washington.

- HUGE big key in playoffs will be Dak vs zone shell coverages - same way Vic Fangio blueprint &
Niners blueprint zone scheme thrown at Dak.. * Quickly Recognize & Exploit it:

It might be a strange viewpoint. But the way I see this, if, by some longshot, Belichick comes here, McCarthy will end up in New England.

To me, it seems like a Kraft move to entice Jerral Wayne into releasing McCarthy.. The funny thing is, when I was watching Belichick draft, I gathered that Belichick knew he was on the way out, and left the team in shambles with half-assed draft picks. Like, on purpose. Hoody is conniving like that, IMO.

Cause he keeps hiring his buddies. All 90 years old and way, way past their prime.
You think belichick wouldn't be doing the same? Guaranteed a variation of his mullet son, Mcdaniels, and any of his old coaches who got fired from HC gig lol

Dak looks really good in MM's offense this year, better than he's looked ever, really. I think a good change at DC might help this team more than HC. Quinn's defense is stale/bend don't break luck based. Need to get a Ravens type D in here.

I love Big Mike more than most on here. What he’s done over the past three years is amazing, and especially what he’s done with Dak’s mechanics for this past season.

Having said all that, if we lose today I wouldn’t be against this move. It would be embarrassing, and humiliating. I mean in all reality, we lose and Philly advance and make it farther? Unfathomable but realistic at the same time.

If we do lose the whole organization needs a shift and an alpha like Bill. That’s the only thing I could ever see working.
Mazi would make a better 2-gapping NT and Micha OLB in 3-4. It’s in place

It has some substance tho w the Adam S rumors. My guess on which team is secretly chatting with Belichick, 50/50, either Bills or Cowboys, with tiny outside chance it’s Philly.
