HA, cocaine didnt seem to affect michael irvin. Pot deffinetly didnt affect rickys playing he was great, he fought for ever damn yard he got. Quincy was talented, the drugs did not affect his playing, if he was clean he woudl of played the same. and if you disagree you have no proof. And to the guy who called me a youngin'. Thats awsome stereotyping younger kids saying they dont know anything about life because we havent lived long enough. I said i dont condone drugs alcohol etc. i dont do any of them. But people dig to deep into players life, its a childs game. They play a sport and get paid for it, its for the fans entertainment dotn start judging players about what there life is like. People melt when the players have had a hard life and said "ma when im older you wont have to work" thats great im sure many kids said it, heck i said it. And than if someone does drugs they have there torches and pitch forks. look at the Owens deal, everything gets blown out of perportion. thats the fans fault, who cares hes cocky as all heck. But he backs it up he shows up on sunday. thats all that should matter, people obsess. its just a sport dont buy to much into the player, root for them. Cheer but dont involve yourself in there personal life.

On the subject as a whole.. this is stupid. Most major businesses do drug tests and background checks before they hire their employees... hell some of them run your credit history. Its ridiculous to say we're dipping too far into the PLAYERS lives when people in most any reputible business have all of these same checks done on them. The only difference is that the PLAYERS are high profile jobs that are placed under media attention.

And saying "let them smoke all they want and do drugs" IS condoning drug use.

It was the pot that impared him to the point that he ran off the road. As for Alchol I dont care ban it too I dont drink. But do not sit here and try to tell me that pot doesnt hurt anyone when my family has suffered loss because someone got high.

I'm thinking you should remove the "locked&" part of your username. On so many levels this thread and your posts, is wrong.
