This is not a place for someone to be throwing around war stories. Anyone can come on here and claim they are a vet. Very few actually use it as a user name.

Personally I respect all service men and women. But like I said, anyone could come here and claim that.

If you truly served our country, then you have my thanks. But that wont get you any favors with your trolling behavior.

We can agree to disagree on issues but when someone uses someone's service as an insult simply to defend their Dallas position is BS and we both know it.

One can agree/disagree on Zeke's contract being too expensive or how he doesn't have the speed he used to when he was younger, but we truly need to appreciate how after 7 years, Zeke still runs tough and has lots more to give. He still has that quick burst, some juice and strength in his legs. Watch some of the tough runs 27 year old Ezekiel Elliott has produced for the Cowboys so far this 2022 season.

I'm not sure what "running tough" means.

I mean, you could put ME in there in a Cowboys uniform, and I could "run tough" in an NFL game...,but would likely average Negative 6 yds per carry and fumble every time a 300 lb nfl player tried to rake the ball out of my arms.

We used THE NUMBER 4 overall pi k on a running back 7 years ago, and 3 years ago he he had declined to the point of an average NFL back.

The teams that don't over-invest in RB, which has shortest shelf life of any position, are smart. We were not smart.

It is not just fans of Zeke. This whole world is on a short attention span.

But, Pollard looked good against a team who under performs against the run. Yet after 15 carries he was done. Do you recall the 2007 play-off game against the Giants. The entire second quarter Barber ran the ball. The geniuses at the control of the offense (Jason Garrett) did not use Julius Jones one time. The second half Barber was gassed.

So why was Pollard gassed? He even said so in that sidelines mic'd up.

I am not putting him down, nor even making a comparison to Zeke. Its always appears to be black and white, either or with you.

The tandem of the two is what works. I don't see a problem, except the expectations of fans who think Pollard is just a TD machine in the waiting. And with this mindset, that makes Zeke crapola on our shoes.

Because I'm old school and can see both contributing. And I don't give a fiddler's frick what they are paid.

Pollard was probably gassed from running all over Chicago. Zeke might get gassed too if he didn’t run 3 yards every play.

But I know you’re old school and applauded the awful decision to sign Zeke like they did to that awful deal.

...or simply a matter of a differing opinion regarding a player which does not equate to hate.

I like what Zeke brings to the team still. I just feel he needs the Maliek Davis role in the Chicago game and Pollard needs to be the main back. Especially to start drives since he can actually spark the offense unlike 21.

It was a serious question. You're always questioning me, yet you know I served, so what's the difference? Like I said before, if you asked nicely, I would respond respectfully.

By the way, what was you MOS?

So, you were a grunt? lol

My first three years my MOS was a 64C20 before I became a Series18 at Fort Benning, GA. for the following six years. Now, I retired on a Medical Discharge.
lol...yes, sir. My cousin was a Series 18 as well. Thank you for your service brother.

I still workout hard and even harder playing music with my Bad Influence Garage Blues Band.
Awesome! Wish I could say the same. I became a firefighter/fire rescue EMT & first response specialist for 7 years. Ruptured 3 discs in lower back when falling through a 3/4 full burning 2 story house during a search and rescue. Medical retirement. Wish I could hear your music! After firefighter medical retirement, moved to San Antonio to help my late father start our own film & music production company.
