"It's a familiar refrain in league circles, a feeling that Romo is an undisciplined QB playing for an undisciplined organization with a poorly constructed roster."

I think this entire statement is very true.

Pretty much.

would not call Romo undisciplined; more like he needs restraining now and then. Actually what he really needs is other players stepping up and making plays so he does not think he needs to do it all the time.

What he NEEDS is a defense that will allow the offense to savor a lead for more than a few seconds at a time

He needs firm coaching, that's how I interpreted the "undisciplined" part. That's exactly what Parcells knew he needed and what he hasn't gotten here.

I'm sorry, but how in the hell can Eli even be rated that high. 2 out of the last three seasons he has thrown for more than 25 interceptions. He is not good.

Eli will go down as the most overrated quarterback in history because he happened to be on two teams that got hot at the right time and has two Super Bowl rings. He's a lucky dog. It didn't happen twice for Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson, but if it did, would those guys be Hall of Fame bound? If Eli goes into the HOF, I would laugh until I cried.

Pretty spot on with Romo. Can't be depended on in the clutch, but a good QB otherwise. Great QB if you want to win your fantasy league, just don't expect him to get you to a Super Bowl.

Manning=Unbelievable -- According to media outlets. Media outlets never give Aikman,Emmitt, Irvin,or Novacek their due. It was all because of a great O-line, or this or that. If you played or play for the Dallas Cowboys (in whatever era) you are not as good as you think you are. And the media will tell you so.

Eli's two rings and last name will get him in the HOF..deserving or not..

Honestly if he has another season where he is worse than Geno Smith, it's not likely. I have a feeling he is due for another bad season and probably will be on his way out of NY.

I think a key question would be "does an undisciplined organization with fatal flaws force a QB to be undisciplined when he's trying to carry the team?" Honestly, while I believe Romo to be a very good QB, he doesn't have that golden arm needed to dominate a defense when it knows the pass is coming and the secondary is flooded with defenders. He needs a good running game to keep the defense honest and a good defense to close games out.

Seriously. Rumors were flying out of NY that he was done and the Giants were considering drafting a QB high.

I don't think he was ever "on". He had a defense, a running game and, in Kevin Gilbride, an OC who understood what Eli could and couldn't do. Gilbride made Eli a serviceable QB.
