Looks like most of it was in the back seat of the car.

Kennedy finally got it through his head that they didn't like him very much in Texas.
I believe Texas was still a blue state at the time so actually everyone loved him here. My mom remembers it being a very sad day even in school. All the teachers were crying. It don't matter where you are if the powers that be want you gone... they'll off you.

Did they really go? I would think they would be exited at this first press conference.

"Farewell America" Supposedly the French Secret Service report on the Kennedy assassination. Friend of mine got a copy through interlibrary loan (it had been mis-filed under 'Drama') long ago. Had an inscription from Senator Margaret Chase Smith on it. Which explains why it was in the country at all, as the book was banned from the US at the time.

Whatever may have happened, at least in the aftermath the fix was in to make it be the work of a lone, crazed gunman.

Jesus dude, that's harsh.
While I'm fascinated by the conspiracy theories, I always come back to the fact of how many people would have to be in on something like this and the old saying in Washington about keeping secrets among two people, is if one is dead. We had a president who couldn't get away with getting blown by an intern but we should believe the government was behind Kennedy being assassinated

I'm sorry JFK was assassinated, but the controversy over his death has kept me fascinated for most of my life. I've read many of the books, watched many of the specials and for every (potential) angle of possible misdeed within the government or "proof" that Oswald either wasn't the shooter or didn't act alone there is more "proof" out there that he was a lone gunman.

At this point I don't think anyone can prove any explanation is 100% accurate– Even the one as Oswald being the lone shooter who did this entirely on his own. Too many loose ends with the investigation, the autopsy, the day of the shooting and other factors have completely washed away the ability to be 100% certain.

And that's probably how it will be for the rest of time.
Totally agree. I've done a lot of research myself. Absolutely more evidence Oswald acted alone.

But also as you said....we will never be able to prove with 100% accuracy that Oswald acted alone, or had help.

Yeah, it's both frustrating and fascinating.

A few weeks ago I (again) watched the JFK assassination special where the author was pimping the argument the fatal headshot was due to an accidental discharge by one of the secret service riding in the car behind the presidential limo.

Do I believe it? No.

But they have enough compelling evidence that it's at least a consideration even if the chance of it actually happening is ridiculously low... But that's the state of the investigation now a days. No theory is dismissed out of hand because there's always this lack of control information that's beyond reproach and can be used to beat down highly questionable theories.

Look who's got the best angle for the head shot? Everyone thinks that headshot came from far away, but that shooter hit a moving target with Jackie all draped over JFK without hitting her.I think the shot was close rather than far.

I never found anything to indicate that Oswald did any practicing prior to that day. So without any practice he makes three shots that good- actually improving- and every sniper I have ever talked to said that its your first shot that is the best since you are more prepared.

He practiced in Mexico City with help of the Russian Embassy. It's discussed in the new series coming out on the History Channel... JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald debuts on April 25th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Several buddies of mine are Snipers or former Snipers for the USMC and they say it's logical that each shot you take will be more accurate because you gain more information with each shot and make correction accordingly.

What do some of you here believe are the true conspiracies? No I'm talking Bigfoot or Alien Abduction crap they push on anyone that believes in a conspiracy to discredit them. You also notice TV when talking conspiracies shows like "Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura" gets the axe but crap like "Finding Bigfoot" goes on and on.

I believe Kurt Cobain was murdered. The key parts that don't seem like suicide are the amount of heroin found in his body and the suicide note. I think the Seattle police jumped to conclusions and then with the media hysteria there was a push to nip it in the bud. They already changed a major part of their suicide claim. Then you watch Soaked in Bleach and the mountain full of tapes Tom Grant has showing Courtney Love's suspicious and erratic behavior along with her admitting that she used the media to plant stories on Kurt (thanks media), it just further solidifies my beliefs. If there's one thing I have a hard time believing is that Love being a mastermind, but she did prove to be very cunning and manipulative with using the press to her benefit.

Other than that, I really don't believe in conspiracies. I kinda doubt that Oswald acted alone, but I tend to believe he was the killer of JFK. 9/11 wasn't a conspiracy and I think anybody that thinks differently is acting like a moron. I will say that I believe that we have corporations that have no interest in curing diseases like AIDS, cancer, diabetes or even the common cold. It's not a directive, but they have long stopped trying to cure these diseases because it's not beneficial for them to do so.

9/11 conspiracy theorists are the worst...it's like arguing if the sky is blue. Read where that flake Alex Jones admitted his whole persona is an act

The guys I talked with are SF. One really spelled it out.
"Your first shot; you are settled and watching and evaluating but nothing has happened yet. You will never be more ready."

I can see where the extra information COULD come in handy due to wind adjustment, etc. But in the situation as it was at Daley Plaza none of that came into account.

I don't mind the JFK conspiracies much. Some of them are kind of interesting.

However for the most part, the conspiracy nuts wear me out with the levels of stupidity they will stretch in order to justify everybody is out to get them.

I had to delete some of those fools off of my facebook because EVERYTHING was a conspiracy. Even something as simple as new gas can lids was a conspiracy by the Government to make it harder on people (never mind it only takes a minute to figure them out or read instructions which is too hard for some). And I am not joking...someone was ranting and raving over plastic gas containers you use for your mower and such...they were just too hard to understand how to use and the gubment trying to push you down and keep you from spilling a drop or some other lunacy.

To the fools who will give you mountains of evidence that there is flouride in your drinking water (which I have no problem with that) but they are convinced it makes your mind weaker and more susceptible to the gubments will.
The 911 insiders.
Any time there is something like a terrible shooting (Sandyhook is example)...Just because they have some young scared girls that look similar...it is a false flag operation. So when you have parents and people grieving about their families or friends getting hurt or killed in these situations...these conspiracy nuts are calling them and telling them they are liars and making it up.

Seen one video saying if one of the astronauts would have walked on the moon, why would he refuse to swear to it by putting his hand on the bible by some stranger (conspiracy nut) asking him too...that was their proof the moon landings were a hoax.

These people actually hurt themselves more than help themselves because there probably are some real conspiracies out there...some have been unfolded over time (diseased blankets given to indians, tuskegee exp with fake drugs, lsd and others) but when these people think EVERYTHING is a conspiracy it only takes away from a very small number of things that are actually a conspiracy.

Snipers are trained patient people that do a difficult task, no doubt. I don't buy your argument but that's okay, agree to disagree.

This is the video that really shows that the astronauts staged a hoax.Look at the last few minutes of the video. Why is Michael Collins peeling away stuff off the window? It shows you how they pulled off the trick. They did go in orbit but the moon landing most likely staged at Area 51....Oh Area 51 is testing for spy planes and satellites Like this one posted below.

911--- I do question why?

September 10,2001 Donald Rumsfeld saying the Pentagon cannot find 2.3 trillion dollars

X-Files producers had an another show " The Lone Gunmen" this was the pilot episode 6 months before 911 happened.

People forget Building 7 fell later that day.It wasn't hit by a plane.

Building 7 falls but this hotel in Shanghai stood and it's a fireball

Empire State Building hit by a B25 bomber in 1945 and stands as it only took out the 79th floor. I'm sure the fire departments were so much better equipped in 1945 than 2001.

I use to go to the same church as Bart Sibrel and when he was doing this he was really worried for his life. He has paid the price.he worked at a local TV station and they fired him for making the film,he really has not been able to get back into producing. He back in those days was getting threats before he even made the movie.

I believe the naysayers are worried because if you believe in one conspiracy you will open to listen about others. Usually get met with scorn like you are some nerd kid in high school not amongst the popular kids. You get discredited with Bigfoot,Alien crap, and other BS. Same as I said in an earlier post about Ron Paul and Ross Perot.."Don't listen to them public they are crazy, you got to be a fool and we all will laugh at you"!! Listen to what they have to say before passing judgement from the crowd. Looks like Ross Perot was right on target when he said NAFTA will lose American jobs and they won't come back.

Conspiracy theories are fun and something to get the mind wandering. I don't buy most of it, especially the moon landing. My mom was the lead nurse at NASA and did the final check-up on the astronauts before they left. Have met all of them(we lived in Clear Lake/Webster) and they never gave off any vibe to a fakeing......exact opposite and were excited.

You can break down any event and make it look like an ulterior motive. There are some puzzling questions around 911 but I don't think our government planned it.....no way that is kept a secret much like JFK.

I do believe in aliens yet not in relation to them being on Earth....past or present. It is a mathematical impossibility for there not to be life somewhere out there
