So my question, is why have all you Haters given up so easily? Why have you quit on the team? Why are you even here since you have?
Havent given up on team just hate the position they are in. The defense needs play makers, the oline is needs help, Zeke is worn down, McCarthy made some very questionable calls last season, the QB doesnt seem to perform well against better teams. The GM/ owner is a major meddling problem with the team culture.

What's it to you on how other fans perceive the team? You let others make too much of a mark when enjoying what you like about the Cowboys and this forum. We literally have nothing to do with this team's performance on the field. The only thing we contribute to is the financial bottom line.
That’s actually not a true Statement especially for someone like me. I’m sure there’s many people that post here that have NFL associations.

Probably 75% of the threads, posts since the March 15th have been crapping on the Cowboys. And that’s probably conservative. I’ve heard things like “26 more years of mediocrity”, “team has no chance with Jerry”, “team has no chance with Stephen”, “team has no chance with Dak”, etc, etc, etc. It’s like a big sleepover with a bunch of 12 yr old girls. It doesn’t matter the age group, many of the old farts are there with the young farts. It’s been quite entertaining. It’s like they don’t realize that every year a new team goes out there on week 1. Not the team from the previous year, but a new team. And of recent, new coaches. Much needed new coaches.

So my question, is why have all you Haters given up so easily? Why have you quit on the team? Why are you even here since you have?

It’s a new year, with new players, with new coaches. Last year the team experienced the most injuries in one year since I’ve been a fan and that has been since 63. There’s never been as many injuries to key players as last year. So what do you expect after that a damn Super Bowl? Get real. Put down the damn Madden game. Quit watching Stephen A Smith and all the talking heads like him.

This team is on the precipice of great success. When Dak’s been healthy the offense scores points. He’s had 23, 22, 23 and 30 TD’s in his first 4 years and 9 in 4.5 games last year.

Since Dak has taken over the Cowboys average
26.6 pts per game in 2016,
22.7 in 2017,
21.4 in 2018
27.1 in 2019
And over 30 puts per game in 2020 before he got injured.

And that’s with some of the worst defenses overall during those years in the NFL. Defenses that could not get off the field.

So now we have yet again a new DC. One with some great creds. MM is in his 2nd year as the HC. It’s really his first as last year he had no time to implement his culture to the organization because of Covid. Yet the team won 3 out of the last 4 games. With all those critical injuries.

Many of you haters will ***** up until a Super Bowl win and some of you will ***** about certain players performance. You need to take a close look at yourself. Why have you given up? Why have you quit? Every year is different. Don’t quit. Don’t ever, ever give up. Keep fighting or resign yourself to being losers.

I will never understand adults using teenage terms like 'haters' and somehow expect an ability to debate in a respectful manner. As for the need to apply Dak's impact on the offense, what does it really matter when the team has only played 3 playoff games in his 5 years? What does it matter when Dallas has done absolutely nothing so far to improve what was one of the organizations worst defenses in history?

Ain’t that the truth. You’ve always exhibited solid morals in all you posts. Well, most of them. Same goes for me. Maybe we can learn some civilian tact in all of this.

Really? You're one of it not THE biggest bully on CZ. And you feel you've always exhibited solid morals in your posts? o_O

What type of association does a person belong to currently that would mean they are literally contributing to the on field performance of an NFL team? You would have to be a team employee.

I disagree. I think I can save one or two. Maybe already have. It’s a calling. I have to do it.

There is the problem. You think you have a calling. Get used to the part where you realize all your feelings are yours. And everyone else has theirs. Feelings can't be debated into changing. Also, when you find people that are obviously of differing views, you will have more difficulty getting them to side with you while name calling. Though I think deep down, that is what you what you want to get out of it. Not changing someone's perception, just getting into stupid name-calling scuffs in a silly fan forum.

After 25+ years of deep playoff run failure (Cowboy fans should always hold the standard at deep playoff runs), pardon me if I am a little skeptical that the fuhrer and son can build a winner on both sides of the ball. And yes after the past 25 seasons, being skeptical of the Jones Cartel is fact-based thinking not part of the the whiney 12 yr old girl syndrome you alluded to. Yeah it gets old watching the Jones boys do the same thing expecting different results, but I love the Cowboys and I will always give the fuhrer hades about his mismanagement of the franchise.

BTW, after the past 25 seasons, specifically what signs do you see that indicate we could win the east much less make a deep playoff run? Please be specific because I am open to new ideas and perspectives? You did watch the defense play last year, right?

Many of us have become apathetic to the situation under our dysfunctional organization.

Our owner has lowered the bar insisting on continued stranglehold of football operations so lowering our expectations appears to be a natural gravitation.

Each off season is a time for a renewed optimism but after a couple decades plus we simply guard emotions from more disappointment and frustration.

That’s said we continue our unrelenting support of the Cowboys waiting for any sign of a return to greatness.

Don't hate the team, do hate last years defense, and unless we add some talent to that side of the ball 8 and 8 is a real possibility

I keep hearing the defense is already better because they hired Dan Quinn. That sounds a lot like the team is already better because they hired Mike McCarthy. Bottom line is it comes down to the players and the defense is missing good ones.

Eating a shhhh sandwich for 25 years could cause some animosity.
Add the total of how many years Garrett, Gailey, Parcels, Switzer & Campo were head coaches for Dallas. There's your 25 years. Coincidence?! Hopefully Big Mac will break that skid.

And their position is self inflicted. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Yep.

You need players. With this offense, they don't need an elite D. But they lack talent at certain positions to even be average on D. It is downright puzzling that they saw their LBs regress, that their DTs got smoked last year. We lost games because teams ran it down our throats. In our division alone, Washington had nearly 400 yards rushing on us total in both games.

What's their offseason response? We like our guys. We don't need any significant help at DT. It's peculiar.

The biggest narrative I hate is the one going around "Jerry doesn't care about winning. He only cares about the money!". That's ridiculous. Of course he cares about winning. You don't think an egomaniac like himself doesn't want to bring home championships? He does. He may not know how to do it correctly (hence egomaniac that won't give up his seat) but he definitely wants to win so he can swing his big peter around.

It's downright weird. They have to know our D was beyond bad last year. DTs were consistently owned. LBs couldn't shed blocks or maintain the proper gaps. So our answer so far to fix the D is change DC, let a starting CB leave, and re sign a knucklehead CB who wasn't as good as Chido. It's hard to put a shine on a hog that keeps wallowing in mud.

weird thread considering the OP probably insults the most fans and has a habit of taking opinions from this site and forming an opinion that it represents most or all cowboys fans. And of course any stat can be skewed. For every stat that props up Dak I can provide one that shows inefficiency, inconsistency so leave the stats out of it. It's clear our record lately with Dak is not all that.

edit: Enjoy the team, why spend your time worrying about the little things and staying miserable because of it? You know what you like, focus on that, you'll feel better I promise.
