So easy to grab stats. Let’s see, 2018 - 2005 = 13 * 16 = 208

Lol if my math is right, each team has played 208 games since 2005. We’re talking about 27 games.

The point was to show the most similar games to the one we just played. If you read the Twitter thread or my previous post in this thread, expanding the criteria to get a bigger sample size (several hundred games or even more than a thousand games) still results in a very high winning percentage, even against winning teams or playoff teams. And that's not even considering how the opponent's passing game performed (which is roughly half the equation for winning or losing).

None of those are QB stats, they are all team results. The only real way that that statement would be valid is if this was golf or tennis where there is 1v1 play.

Stats are only used in an argument to provide a theory in defense or to attack those who come up short in winning.

Now out of all of those, which were the QBs that consistently threw for under 200 yards? Without looking up the numbers, Id say Grossman, Wilson(that year)... and that is it.

The year Flaco won, he was unbelievable in the playoffs, same with Eli.... Kaep ran like crazy, but he was also a threat with his arm......... so face it, Dak, the current Dak will not take us anywhere, unless he drastically improves his game.

That stat means nothing without the other stats of the game. What were the rushing yards in those games? What were the avg points given up in those games. What were the defensive yards allowed in those games. Usually when you have few passing yards it is because you did not NEED to pass to win the game so you played conservative and did not take chances.

Conservative throws like the two deep throws to the sideline, you have to put those throws in bounds and give your guy a chance, but he didn't want an interception so he put it too far outside. That's the problem we have with Dak at this moment.

Throughout history, new methods and/or technology increased the number of ways criticism could be disseminated and will continue to do so but that is not what I meant. Criticism is as old as humanity and individuals are not above being criticized. However, it is applicable logic behind any criticism that differentiates what is or is not relevantly directed at whomever is being criticized. The same can be said of those who have played, are playing or will later play quarterback for this or any other franchise.
