For the Milton haters. You don't know QB

Full context matters. Milton did it against dudes that will be on the couch soon. Selling insurance etc I'm being realistic but still proud to see him improve. I'd love to see him do this against top competition.
Below is 2025; imagine how much better backups of backups are? Yet they drafted an RB? They picked up a journeyman QB1, and have already packed it in for 2026, looking ahead fo the '27 class of QB's. Dallas looked great sure, but a ton of perspective is needed. Their O didn't rank much better either

Defensive Breakdown
    • Total Defense: 27th overall (357.7 yds/g)
    • Scoring Defense: 29th overall (28.7 PPG allowed)
    • Passing Defense: 24th overall (230.8 pass yds/g allowed, 31 pass TDs)
    • Rushing Defense: 25th to 31st range depending on metric (2,158 rushing yards allowed) [1, 2, 3, 4]

Right now I think the QB situation is settled. They are probably just keeping Dak and Milton on the 53 so they can go long at another position.

I just don't know if you can sneak Howell through waivers onto the PS. Looking at the games yesterday, competent backup QBs are in short supply across the NFL and Howell has some experience behind him.

It's not about who he faced, it's how he played. He showed touch, accuracy, and anticipation. Both of his TD passes were perfectly placed footballs. A year ago he would have fired 101 mph fastballs and missed.

Hate it but Mafah is gone. He's just the odd man out. No room. Your right, Howell won't make it to the PS. You cut him or trade him for a bag of chips. His salary is 2.5 mil.

You don't have to sell me. I'm sold. But if he ever wants to be the man, if he gets called on, he will need to duplicate what he's been doing. Then it's Katy bar the door.

Yes and no.

After shredding Arizona in last night's game, how can any Cowboys fan hate Milton? He's the obvious choice for QB2.

lol he never played like last night before

I watched him at Michigan, the guy has not been impressive, but he looked good last night

so just be happy "lover"
dont trash your fellow fans with silly cliches
