For the Milton haters. You don't know QB

Nah, according to many on here, he's the future. The only way to know is to give him a game against an ugly stepsister in the East. No better candidate, lol. Is it Week 1, yet?
Funny, what this implies is the Cowboys should make personnel decisions to satisfy fan curiosity or feed into their narrative (because the fan has a right to know - who cares what the team already knows).

I wouldn’t even bother reading this thread, but he sucks until otherwise until he shows you shows us that he is even a pimple on the *** of Quincy Carter never mind a legitimate quarterback. The jury is still out.
He has never been good.
He look good against one of the worst teams in football.

This is why people make fun of cowboy fans getting excited for preseason victories.

Do you know who else gets excited for preseason victories?

Jets fans
I haven’t seen anyone here get excited over preseason wins. I have seen folks here get excited about how well some of the backups have played.

I didn’t even notice this fun thread. Read only a few posts.

So….after a couple of decent preseason performances against dudes that’ll be changing your oil in two weeks, it’s even a consideration to move on from Prescott??

Say whatever you want and it’s all fair, but if he goes down, let’s just say don’t go rooting for it, even if you don’t like him.

Remember no one is game planning against anyone during the preseason.

Thing is, Milton does need reps, and unless Dak goes down, he won’t get them. I still can’t understand why he wanted to be here so badly.

He knew he was never going to start, over Drake May, and he knew Prescott was getting on in years, that’s all I can think of

Milton is now just scratching the surface off his potential.
He has natural physical talents. Who knows how far he can progress with the other attributes of being a great QB but his talents give him a huge advantage.

Full context matters. Milton did it against dudes that will be on the couch soon. Selling insurance etc I'm being realistic but still proud to see him improve. I'd love to see him do this against top competition.
That would be the ultimate test.

Most of the defense in PS is basic stuff.

Maybe but he was going to be a FA before Daks deal expired. I’m not complaining. Maybe he just really wanted to be the future QB of the Cowboys, but I don’t see how he gets the reps he needs here, aside from now or injury.

Wow, you’re doubling down. One of the most ridiculous takes EVER on CZ.

Maybe they only hate Milton because he could become a threat to their hero.... I think it would be quite funny if 2016 repeated itself and Dak was benched in favor of Milton. Epic meltdowns if that were to happen
Did meltdowns happen when Romo lost his job like Bledsoe did?

I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I do see major improvement, whether it’s enough, I still think he panics when they press sure him out of the pocket, but he was better. We’ll see that’s all I can say, I wouldn’t trade him because I don’t think we would do much better
For a fifth round pick, I’m not sure we could’ve drafted a better quarterback
