Its pretty scarry how Rack and I seem to be on the same page all the time now.

BTW you guys would love Reggie Nelson but we're screwed until we start getting pressure on the Quartberacks.

There is very few players in this league that can overcome our horrible pass rush and some of you will never realise that.

There is a cause and effect and a lot of the "effect" of this defense getting toasted is "caused" by getting no pressure on the stinkin Quarterback.

Our defense scheme looked like a pee-wee team compared to the Ravens NFL scheme. They were throwing so many formations/fronts/alignments at Indy it was mind boggling. We line up in a straight 3-4 on every 1st and 2nd down.. and the Ravens are moving people around and lining up in various alignments on every single play.

There's only a huge difference between free and strong safety when you get one as one dimensional as Roy. Many safeties switch back and forth in their careers. I'm sure Reed could play up in the box and free flow to the ball carrier untouched with everyone else doing all the dirty work for him too.

I think they can both do what each other do.

I think one plays with a phenomenal front seven (best or second best in the NFL), and the other plays with DeMarcus Ware.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yeah, believe it or not "playing the run" isn't really a premium skill for safeties these days.

Most of the safeties who claim that as their best asset were benched this year.
