How did Dak waste career of Smith and Martin….they were here before him. What did they do before he got here?
Prescot has had O-Lines that other QBs would kill for and when games matter the most his O-Lines have given their heart and soles to protect him and how has Prescot repaid them? Well, the answer is simple because he hasn't, the man has gone MIA in those games with his less than mediocre play, and his patented scared sh^tless look, Prescot has wasted the BEST playing years of these two SUPER STARS, not to mention the countless others who have had outstanding careers while Prescot has faltered as the Cowboy's QB who can't seem to elevate his play when the TEAM needs him the most. It's time to move on from the TOAD HUNTER.................

Not that interesting. And he hasn't only 'not won a SB', he hasn't advanced to a conference championship game. Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, Brock Purdy, Lamar Jackson, all drafted the same year or after Dak and have all gotten that far. 5 playoff visits, 2 different team builds, 7 playoff games, still ****ing the bed. How many at bats are we going to give this guy to test out the "winning cures all" theory before we come to the realization he's just not the guy?
So the usual blame the QB, not the team, because Burrow, Goff, Purdy, and Jackson carried their subpar running games and defenses to success. They are so incredible that they keep carrying their teams year after year.

I don’t think you do. Go watch some highlight videos of Elway in the postseason in his first 8 years. He might not have gotten over the hump and hoisted the trophy, but he still went to multiple Super Bowls and didn’t look downright horrible come playoff time. And that was a period when the rules weren’t slanted to favor the passing game.

There is absolutely no comparison here. Dak is not in that same situation and he’s not even close to the same caliber QB without ever proving he can play well beyond wildcard weekend. Your insinuation is not only ridiculous but pretty pathetic.
I'm not going to argue about Elway, Do you but I'm not going with you. Later

The rules are the rules. Pretty sure the teams Elway played against had the same rules.

Were the players as big and as fast as they are today? Comparing generations is stupid.

Defenders were not flagged the way they are today. And it is stupid to compare different eras but that comparison to Elway is the whole premise of the thread. Dak can still win championships because he didn’t win until late in his career while glossing over the simple fact that he’s been there 5 times.

It is very obvious and has been proven that middle of the road QB's, Bus Driver's, or whatever fans want to call them can win a SB with a great team.

We're still waiting on Jerry and Stephen to put that together.

Save the bs for someone that doesn’t know better. QB is the most important position on the field, QB can never be a top 2 reason you go home in the playoffs. We all watched this defense go into Santa Clara and hand him the game on a silver platter and he pissed it away.

GM Jeruh does not understand that concept. He believes in have 4 to 5 Superstars and expects their Jersey sales to win SB's.
