It's an obvious and needless distraction during the season. It shows he's not 100% focused on becoming a champion.

Please don't appeal to "athletes are allowed to have a life", as yes, we all know that. But there are actions and mindsets required to become a champion and they must be adhered to in order to make that happen.

If all you want is to be a celebrity then go ahead and focus on golf, Cabo, podcasts, and all that other noise, but don't expect to hoist a Lombardi.
What makes you think it's a distraction?... or at least, what makes you think it's a bad distraction, as opposed to a welcome one? Did Micah show up to practice fat? Did he get sacks, pressures, and draw double and triple teams?

It's only a "distraction" to people want something to complain about.

I'd love to have Ware on the coaching staff, but I don't see what difference Micah's podcast makes, unless it keeps him from getting the proper amount of rest.
It's really a generational thing.

When we were younger, things that were normal to us seemed unnecessary to older people and the same is true today.

We are just the older people now. :D

Micah is hyped about his brand more than playing football which is what DeWare is saying
Yep...maybe Parsons will follow the money and go win a SB elsewhere. He should ask Water about that on his Podcast.

Man now Ware being floated on the coaching staff? Soon we'll have a coaching staff that looks similar to the all-time Cowboys roster. Lol

Media is a distraction...always has been. Can you imagine what a focused Parsons might do? Hell....he might actually have time to hit the weight room...might be even in shape to finish a game in the 4th quarter.

Just saying....In this case...D-Ware is right.

Too many ex Cowboy players as coaches on the staff is not a good thing imo.

Does he look like he doesn't hit the weights enough? He's usually tired in the 4th quarter because he's spending the game trying to (and usually successfully) pushing through two to four times his own mass. Then once he gets through, he's running like a madman to get to the QB.

I really doubt he's doing the podcast when he's supposed to be working out or practicing. The team wouldn't allow that.

I would call it fair warning myself. Only a tiny percentage of NFL players have podcasts so acting like it is normal is just plain dumb
So is publicly challenging a player the Cowboys probably want to sign when you’re not even a member of the organization. Dwarf is an idiot. Micah’s agent‘s first demand on a new deal will be Ware cannot be on the Cowboys coaching staff.
