The Patriots may be glad to give up two firsts for Dak. They would get a 3rd for letting Brady walk in free agency.

I think $33M is more than fair for Dak on a 4 year deal and then see what happens after 3 years.

If that's the case, how about the Cowboys trade them Dak and a 3rd for Brady and 2 firsts. If Dak is the Walmart greeter some say he is, then the Cowboys should be picking in the top 5 next year thanks to the first from the Patriots.

Dak isn't worth 40M , & Dak didn't even make the playoffs last year .

Someone please call Tom Brady . Maybe Stephen gets some balls and calls him .

Why would anyone pay attention to this talking head who knows absolutely nothing about the Cowboys or the NFL?

    Fact not in evidence.

If anything, I think Jerry and Stephen are the frustrated ones. Dak seems cool as a cucumber. Time is on his side.

Dak played for 2 mil last year to bet on himself, declining 33 mil.

Why wouldn't he be perfectly content, even *eager*, to bet on himself again this year while making the 30mil+ a tag will bring him, and a CBA coming up, likely to boost the cap and QB salaries?

They offered 33 last year, and Dak said no. Time has passed since Dak was asking for 35.

His price only goes up with every tick of the clock.

Which is why Dak is going to take the tag and wait.

Why should he be in a hurry?

They don't want to pay the legendary Tom Brady 30 plus mil a year and you think they would give up 2 first round picks and pay 35 mil plus for Dak? Lol ok...

I agree with you however I’m sure Dak is still asking 35-37; regardless it’s not much less than 40.

Let's just make up a number and go wild with it. That seems to be what you think is the right thing to do. It's a private negotiation, you have no right to the information you are asking despite your apparent feelings of entitlement to it. You'll not get it from me.

How ironic. He isn't asking for that.

Think before you write before you drive me mad!

There is always one stupid waking up in the morning.

He will believe he is a franchise QB or is in dire need of one. Trade Dak to him.

Dak needs to get rid of his agent. He never should of walked away from 33 mil because that is still way too much to pay him. For the Dak lovers they need to ask themselves would you be ok if Dallas brought in Kirk Cousins or Ryan Tannehill and paid him 35 mil. Because thats basically what your getting except Cousins and Tannehill have slightly better arms than Dak. I really hope Dak gets franchised for 27mil. Then him and his agent can sit out and pout!
