I'm not even a Dak supporter but to sit here and say you'd take a guy who didn't play at a high level until his 7th season and did nothing in his first playoff game over him just because he's cheaper is a joke as well. You'd be in a much worse situation with him and for what? an extra 25 mil that the team isn't going to use to spend on big name agents?

But you are... Darnold coming off a great season is going to be less for hawks than us overpaying a qb who wont be able to move. But in the end who cares about cap savings to spend on other people right? We all know Jerry won't spend it. But to answer your question, yes I would take Sam over Dak it gives a better chance now to setup for our next QB of the future and accelerate the rebuild that we are in.
