Hall Re-Signs With Skins
Friday, February 27, 2009

A league source tells ProFootballTalk.com that cornerback DeAngelo Hall has agreed to terms to remain with the Commanders.

Per the source, it's a six-year, $54 million contract, with $22.5 million in guaranteed money.

It's the second big contract in less than a year for Hall, who was traded last March to the Raiders and inked a long-term deal.

The Raiders eventually cut him, paying out $8 million for only eight games.

As the clock struck midnight, CB DeAngelo Hall struck it rich.
Hall reached an agreement with the Commanders on a six-year, $54 million deal that includes $22.5 million guaranteed and $30 million in the first three seasons.
Agents Alvin Keels and Joel Segal spent recent weeks negotiating with the Commanders and put the finishing touches on the deal as free agency kicked off.

I love it.

Danny tries to make a big splash, but instead belly flops. What a bad deal for them.

Good for us, though.

Broncos Move Quickly For Two Tailbacks

Every year, at least one NFL team manages to negotiate a multi-million-dollar contract minutes after the time period for commencing discussions aimed at finalizing a contract opens.

Amazingly, these complex, big-money deals get accomplished from scratch in roughly the time it takes to bake a tray of cookies.

Eye roll.

This year, the Broncos have gotten deals in place less than a half hour into free agency.

According to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com, the Broncos already have agreed to terms with free-agent running backs J.J. Arrington of the Cardinals, and Correll Buckhalter of the Eagles.

Awful, they must think that just because it was the Raiders that cut him that it means he is actually good.
