funny how people talk crap about it on this board all the time. yet, tonight, they complain about it not being available.

Please let Washington waive Shawn Springs now that they have the great Hall.

He would be a good fit in that hybrid corner safety role here. He is a good tackler which is the most important part.

the downside is he his very injury prone and seems to sit with every minor ache.

I'd swoop Springs up so fast!!

He's the best corner they've had over the last few years, not that he's great or anything. Hall and Smoot are absolute garbage. Both are all flash and no substance, although Smoot has been quiet since going bust in Minnesota.

They would have rogers,Hall,Smoot and Springs...I'm guessing Springs gets the boot because of age and salary

why 2 backs??

cause last year they went through like 10 RBs cause no one could stay healthy. So they will continue to add a huge number of them to see if they can get a small group who can remain healthy for an entire season.

Clayton said that 6 teams are willing to pay the 40 million guarenteed to Haynsworth..and more teams than expected are giving him calls.

Who are the 6 teams? That's more than I thought.

It's one of the only sports blogs I check anymore. If it's happening in the NFL, it's on his blog. Fantastic news source.

I've emailed him back and forth several times. He's an arrogant SOB, but pretty funny nonetheless.

The Rams are taking aim at multiple free agents who previously played for the Baltimore Ravens.

In addition to center/guard Jason Brown, whom Albert Breer reports will visit St. Louis, the Rams also have lined up a visit with linebacker Bart Scott, according to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com.

Scott explained on ESPN earlier tonight that, once the talks with the Ravens bumped up against the start of free agency, he decided to go ahead and test the market.

Merril Hoge really pushing TJ to go to the eagles.... his all Pennsylvania bias is annoying.

I am watching nfl network and they are showing the 6 pm edition of total access on a loop, on that show adam shefter said he thought bodden or hall would go to new england.

i wonder if that is why washington ponied up, and does shefter ever get anything right? He was on with the musers on the ticket recently and he come off like a complete tool.

Commanders also take aim at Haynesworth, Dockery

Posted: News | Steve Wyche | Tags: Albert Haynesworth, DeAngelo Hall, Derrick Dockery, Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders not only signed CB DeAngelo Hall to a six-year, $54 million deal with $22.5 million guaranteed, but they are working on trying to sign free-agent DT Albert Haynesworth and negotiating to bring back G Derrick Dockery, who was released by the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

A source familiar with the Commanders’ plans said Haynesworth definitely is being pursued and that Dockery, who signed a seven-year, $49 million free-agent deal with Buffalo in 2007, could return to Washington, where he started for four seasons.

Haynesworth is the most coveted free agent on the market and also is believed to be pursued by the Tennessee Titans, with whom he has spent seven seasons, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
